AN: I OWN NOTHING OF THE SCOOBY DOO FRANCHISE!!!!

Friends

Shaggy sat in his room on his bed pouting. Why did his dumb old parents have to invite her to stay here while her parents were away? If it were up to him, she would be in some old hotel room. Besides, who wants to hang out with a dumb two year old anyway?
"Norville honey, she's here!" He heard his mother call from downstairs. When no response came from her son, Mrs. Rogers smiled and told Velma that he was just a little cranky today. Velma waved goodbye to her mom and dad from the doorway. She was wearing a sweet orange dress with red tights and black mary-jane shoes. Her shoulder-length brunette hair fell in curls around her face with some of it held back by a small red bow in her hair. She was told she'd be staying in the room accross from Shaggy's so she set on up the stairway, needing no help from the adults. She put her small hands on the orange straps of her backpack and set it down on the floor of her 'room'. She went accross the hall to look for Shaggy, but ended up bumping into the doorway, her glasses flying from her face. Shaggy couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit sorry for her as he watched her fumble around on the floor looking for her lost glasses. Sighing, he stood and picked up her glasses.
"Here." He said handing them to her.
"Thank you." She said standing up. He couldn't help but notice she looked adorable, for a two year old.
"Yea, whatever." He said picking up his Commander Cool Walkie Talkie. He turned it on, but as soon as he did, the object smoked a bit and he knew it was broken. He threw it on his bed and sat down at his desk. Velma went over to the walkie talkie and pulled off the back. Shaggy was shocked. Why was she breaking my toy even worse? He was about to go yell at her for it, but when she turned around, it was fixed!
"Hey! How'd you do that!" He said taking it from her in amazement.
"I fixed the circuit board." She said in a very shy voice.
"What's a circuit board?" She giggled at his confused face. In Velma's family, things like this were things you learned as soon as you could hold a screw-driver. Shaggy smiled. "Wanna play? We can play mystery. I can be your side-kick and you can be the detective."
"I would love to." And with that said, Shaggy was no longer distant from Velma and they, along with their neighbor Freddie and Shaggy's puppy, a pup named Scooby Doo, became the best of friends. Soon after that, about two years later to be exact, another little girl named Daphne moved into the mansion accross the street. Although Freddie would never admit it, they all knew he took a special liking to their new friend.
