Not Bad In Moonlight

Pairing: Zuko and Katara

Disclaimer: Zuko and Katara fluff. 'Nuff said.

It was three years after the war and Fire Lord Ozai's defeat and the new Fire Lord, Zuko, was sitting in his garden looking at the turtle-ducks in the pond.

"Well, hello Fire Lord Zuko", said a feminine voice.

Zuko smiled at the newcomer "Hello, Fire Lady Katara." A.N: yes they're married. It's my story dang it!

"I knew you'd be out here instead of joining the festivities," she replied with a small grin on her face.

"You think you know everything don't you?" Zuko joked. He was given a small push by Katara for that remark, even though she was laughing.

"So why did you come out here?" Zuko asked.

"Well, I just wanted to see where you up and disappeared to," Katara answered.

Just then Zuko looked up and saw a full moon and the moon's rays were gently shining on Katara making her look radiant.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Katara wondered why Zuko was staring at her strangely.

"Oh, I was just thinking how beautiful you look right now in the moonlight," Zuko answered dreamily.

Katara had a small frown on her face. "Oh so you're saying that I only look good in moonlight and ugly in every other kind of light?" Katara said feeling offended.

"No, no! I wasn't saying that, you look beautiful in any light I was just saying that moonlight enhances your beauty," Zuko said not wanting to upset his wife.

After hearing his compliment Katara had a small but noticeable blush on her face.

"You know something Zuko," Katara started.

"What's that?" he replied.

"You don't look so bad in moonlight yourself," She finished.
