Nothing's Changed

This is the first time I walked down this street in five years. I came back thinking nothing had changed, but how wrong was I when every thing had changed. All the houses lined up with order, were now big and exquisite. I could feel all the memories flowing back. Trick or Treating, one of my favorites. Our little gange used to run around whilst the boys scaring little kids and us girls screaming at them for their nonsense. Good times, my best friend Troy was always by my side. People said we were joint at the hip form the moment we met. I can see it as if it was yesterday. My mother moved us around again when I was nine, I sat on a swing at the school playground and a middle schooler pushed me off. I was crying when I heard someone yelling. Troy was yelling at them while they were laughing. He hauled back and punched him, the guy was about to attack him before a teacher came. After they were lectured, Troy came over and helped me up. We''ve been best friends since then.

Years later, the same boy asked me out, I was 15 and he was 18. Troy got really upset when I agreed. We stopped talking for a day after that arguement. the next day Jerry the one who asked me out, adn Troy were fighting and I heard a lot of things Jerry thought. He only wasnnted to take advantage of me. Troy got suspended and I decided to ask him for approval for the next guys. I started dating my friends brother and two days later Troy had him in a headlock screaming for mercy. We had a few days from eachother, but then he apologized with chocolate brownies that my mom happened to make. I stopped dating for a while.

Troy and I did everything together. We joined yearbook and he was voted most popular. Tons of girls started asking him out when he was voted captain sophmore year. He turned them all down. He always made sure we were at the dances together, he took me to prom and it was the best night of my life. he told me he loved me and he was giving up U of A to be near me. Our first kiss was on the dance floor. My heart started beating faster then it had ever when he propsed our Junior year of college. Everyone was thrilled, two months later I got pregnant. Troy was so happy he never tooks his hands away from my baby bump. Five months through, I had a miscarriage and the baby was gone. After I recovered, I fled while Troy was in school. I was living in New York with my other close friend. I came back for my best girl friend Taylor's wedding. She was marrying Troy's best friend Chad. I knew he would be there so I was stalling. I walked down this street six times already, glancing at the house I pratically lived at, a few times. But this time something caught my eye or someone, Troy he was walking down the driveway with trash in one hand and a phone in the other. "Yes Taylor, i will be on time,--- yeah I promise,--- well ofcourse, the groom has to look just as good as the best man.---No I told you I will not cut my hair,--because its my signature look,--- how do you think the lot at the shop will think?--- Thanks,---- No I-I" he dropped the phone and trash one he saw me. "Ga-Brie?" he walked closer. I stood frozen. Once he got in distance and stared at me. Then he pulled my chin up and kissed me as I felt his hot tears. I was wrong nothing changed, I was still so in love with him, and by the kiss so was he.

THE END!!!!!!
