Oh yesssss, another Alice x Mad Hatter story *eyes gleam happily* I'm literally addicted to this couple. i got a couple reviews on my other story asking if I would make more one-shots about them, and so I am going to be making a ton more simply because I love them together. This one is another "this-should've-happened-here" story when Alice and the Hatter were on the balcony at the White Queen's castle and they were talking. The scene was at night so everything was moonlit and I was like whisper-screaming "KISS!! KISS!! KISS!!" but it didnt happen. So Im writing a story about what I think should've happened in that scene.

Alice blinked as she heard footsteps behind her. She was perched upon the balcony, leaning against the railing. Her form was illuminated by the light of the full silver moon, shining off the silver nightgown she happened to be wearing. She looked back, seeing her friend and object of affection, the Mad Hatter, standing beside her. His hat was off, the messy curls of dark red falling about his face randomly. His bright eyes seemed to be staring directly into her soul, and he spoke "Are you prepared for the battle?". Alice smiled slightly and shook her head "Hardly. I'm terrified. I couldnt sleep at all and...oh Hatter, I'm afraid. I cant slay anything, even if my life depended on it!"

The Hatter's smile grew "Alice, have you any idea why a Raven is like a writing desk?". Alice shook her head "I'm still thinking, but I havent come up with anything".

There was a few moments of silence and Alice, needing some form of comfort, leaned forward and kissed the Mad Hatter. The movement was returned as the Hatter kised her back, draping his arms around her. They stayed like that for a while, neither wanting to let go, but they both had to breathe and Alice pulled away. They didnt speak as they caught their breath, just stared into each other's eyes.

The moon shone brighter as the two kissed again. The clock struck midnight.

Short, I know, but t was all I could think of. This scene has slipped my mind too so if I didnt get it word for word i am sorry but I tried. I think the kissing was cute though ^.^
