Cam was running again; in fact that was all he did, after all there was nothing else to do, not here on the voyage of the damned and he can only take so many whacks from Teal'c.

He sighed and began his next lap, hoping for some variation to his day but not having much hope. Maybe he could entice Sam way from the Asgard core to spar with him or spend some time in the shooting range.

It was early in the morning, around 0400, and he couldn't sleep. In fact, he never slept. He just ran kilometer after kilometer. After all it was day...99. No, 100.

Something had to give or he'd explode (or an other equally dangerous option). Grandmaw always said, if you put too many frogs in a bucket, some of them were likely to kill one another. That's just what SG-1 and Landry were, too many frogs in a bucket.

He came around the corner of the hallway housing the crew quarters and ran into Val Mal Doran coming out of Jackson's room, looking thoroughly disheveled, ravished, and way too pleased with herself.

As she gave the man in the room a small wave, Cam could see Jackson sitting in the middle of his bed looking a little stunned. From what Cam could see, Daniel's clothes were scattered across the room and the fact that Vala was still getting dressed as she left, well he didn't need a revelation to know what had just happened. Not that he'd ever doubted it would happen – he was just surprised to be an actual witness.

Vala stopped as she turned from the door, brushing her hair back from her face and straightening her shirt a little more. At this time of the morning she hadn't expected to find anyone around and she found herself stumbling over her words. "Ah, Mitchell. I, we ah-"

Cam shook his head. "Stop! I don't even want to know what you were doing. I can guess from--"

He stopped realizing that he really didn't want to know or talk about this. "I'm just gonna run. That way." He pointed in the opposite direction of Jackson's quarters and then broke out in a hard sprint only to stop once he got around the corner.

Clutching his stomach, he started to laugh. Sam now owed him five hundred bucks!

Well something gave, just not what or who he expected. With a shake of his head, he picked up the pace and started whistling - enjoying day 100 a whole lot better than the day before, but now that the crazies were running the nuthouse, it was time to get out of here. Way past time.

Let me know what you think of this one. I thought I'd stick my toe into this pool and see what happens.
