With his guitar in hand and the pick wedged in between his lips, Gold smiled dumbly. He was slumped on a park bench with a wide open landscape full of hiking trails and the like, and beside him lay his hat, if anyone feel the need to tip him of course. He wasn't exactly a seasoned player, he had a few years of experience under his belt at least, but he just enjoyed the music to be honest.

By now he had begun to strum out a favourite tune, one he had written himself, he maybe had a few quarters total in his hat by now but it wasn't important to him really. The brunette was a carefree guy, he just closed his eyes and…

"I didn't know you played an instrument Gold." Gold could recognise the formal, yet grumpy tone anytime. And behold, his guess was correct, a small ginger boy loomed over him with a slightly blank look on his face and a playful sneasel on his shoulders. Pretending he did not see the boy, Gold went right back to playing, humming in tune with his strums. The other's red locks were shuffled slightly by the wind and his gaze grew impatient the more Gold decided to ignore him. Gold paused and without a word patted the space on the bench next to him, which clearly read "sit." The red head awkwardly obliged.

"Hello Silver" Gold cooed, eyes still closed, at peace with his music and the world around him. "You look tense, man, you should relax, take a deep breath, maybe give me a tip" Gold didn't even have to look at Silver to see the intense glare that was thrown at him. The boy laughed heartily, "I was kidding" and continued to play. There was a pause of their voices for the duration of the song and once it was finished the silence remained. Gold turned to the boy, "So, what brings you here, friend?" Apparently the question was not deemed worthy of an answer, because he wasn't given one. Gold chuckled and let it slide, he wasn't in the mood to force Silver out of his vicious cycle of brooding again.

Silver let out a deep sigh, and then broke the silence, "I didn't really think you were good at anything other than being an annoying brat" Gold didn't bless him with one of his witty remarks, so he continued, " But really, you aren't that bad, a-at the guitar that is." Gold smiled brightly at his friend, loosely plopping an arm around Silver's shoulders, forcing the irritated sneasel on to the ginger's lap.

Silver didn't protest, just leaned in slightly closer to the musician.
