Hurried breaths of two voices, scattered. The soft sound of cloth sliding across cloth, then of skin on skin. A laugh.

"This is so weird," May breathed as she sat on the couch in her living room. Her heart raced as Drew slid his arms around her - again - and simply held her.

"I don't want to let you go," he murmured into her neck.

A blush surfaced on May's face. "D-Drew..."

He only pulled her closer.

Sighing, May held him around the neck. They sat that way for a long time, or for what seemed to be a long time. Finally Drew pulled away, albeit wistfully. He left his hand on her waist, however.

They sat together on the couch in her living room. There were things they had just done on that couch that May blushed to think about. Outside, spring had just barely begun, but Pokémon were already coming to life from their winter sleep, looking, looking for...

"I'm sorry, I got a bit... carried away," Drew said apologetically. He seemed confused, disoriented. Drew? Confused? It couldn't be. "That was-- I-- I just couldn't let go of you, and then--" he looked at her, glanced away, "this happened. Sorry."

A heavy silence settled in like a Snorlax making a place for itself at a banquet table. May could feel cold fingers of dread making their way up her back. After some time had passed, Drew once again buried his face in her neck.

"You're easy to hug," he murmured softly. "It feels as if you were made for holding close. I couldn't let go; I couldn't get enough of you to satisfy myself."

Needless to say, May's heart was tripping and falling over itself. Go on, it screamed. Please, tell me more!

"I didn't want to do anything stupid, but I just couldn't stop myself."

Am I supposed to say something? she wondered, as Drew's voice trailed off.

"Look," May said, then stopped. A breath. The word hung in the air, waiting. "I wanted this. You wanted it. Whatever happens now, let's just try to... enjoy it."

A pause. Then she felt him nod. And after that, she felt him pull back, turn his face to hers, place a hand underneath her chin, tilt her face toward his--
