A/N

I'm seem to be in the minority here and some may see this as trolling, but I've felt a bit underwhelmed by Series 5 so far. It's hard to quantify exactly why this is the case, but the episodes so far, or at least The Eleventh Hour and Victory of the Daleks just felt...rushed somehow, with the plot developing at a faster rate that I've been used to in previous seasons. And as a consequence, I feel that not enough time has been given to characterizations for the Doctor and Amy. Still, as they'll be with us until at least the end of Series 6, hopefully there'll be enough time for more characterization.

Of course, that isn't to say it's completely non-existant. And when you have an individual tracing his tastes to fish fingers and custard...well, that speaks for itself, hopefully even more when applying a certain song from Oliver Twist...

Food, Horrible Food

Food, horrible food!

As bad as eating mustard.

Why is it that I only like,

Fish fingers and custard?

...

Apples simply were disgusting,

Which then thus begged the question.

Had my transition to this form,

Caused me indigestion?

...

Yogurt was presented next,

I was anxious to try it.

But because of all its bits,

I needed a new diet.

...

Sizzling bacon in the pan,

But its pig spirit lived on.

That, or my former liking,

For bacon had gone.

...

Next up were simple beans,

The so called "magic fruit."

Suffice to say, as clear as day,

They made me more than toot.

...

A French girl once did say to me,

We should love each other.

But I don't extend that same affection,

To our bread and butter.

...

So I guess my tastes are fine,

Or in some views are crude.

But that is the price to pay,

When it comes to food.
