This is the final chapter. Phew - maybe one day ill rewrite this story because to be honest I'm not entirely happy with it. Thank you , tammy henson, SilverDragon13, Rogue1221, and badkitty98 for the reviews.

"What do you think?" Maria asked, motioning her head towards the tiny infant that lay on her chest. Tony couldn't believe how small the creature was, he after all had no experience with newborns.

The child was still curled up, and black wisps of hair covered some of her head. Tony imagined this was how Maria must have looked when she was first born.

"It's a baby." He said simply, trying not to be impressed. He couldn't get over the size of the child. He was sure that if he were to hold her that she would disappear into his arms. If Steve were to hold her, he was sure he would crush her. He made a note to tease Steve about his massive arms later.

"She's your granddaughter." Maria hummed, her face still flush. No one knew how overwhelmed she was at that moment. She had never experienced such a feeling before, and she knew this is how her father felt about her. She would die for her daughter, and she wouldn't even second guess herself. This new reality was hard for her to deal with, but slowly it was starting to settle in.

"Do you want to hold her?" Maria asked, when her father hadn't respond she glared at him. He pretended not to be interested, but Maria knew he was dying to get a hold of his new three weeks ago had Tony gone full grandfather mode, and attempted to redo the baby room. Steve had to remove Tony from their house, and assure him that everything was fine.

"Yes, gimme." He said impatiently. Maria laughed and gently grabbed a hold of the baby. She passed the small child to Tony, who's hands were shaking with anticipation. He never held a small infant, and he wanted to clutch her to his chest so badly. He was seconds away from exploding with emotions he was sure he would never feel again.

His granddaughter opened her eyes, waving her little arms around not expecting to be moved. When her body suddenly stilled, she settled back down to sleep. She could no longer hold her eyes open.

"Now, what do you think?" Maria asked, stirring her father from his thoughts. He was enjoying himself way too much to realize that Steve and Pepper had returned to the room. Steve holding some kind of car seat in his hands: a gift from Pepper.

"I think she's going to be a brat, just like you." He stated simply, ignoring the cross look Maria gave him. She muttered something along the lines of 'I'm not a brat' before she turned her attention to Pepper who dotted over her.

"We are going to have to think of a cool name for me. I'm much too young to be called Grandpa, or Papa." Tony whispered trying to make sure that Maria couldn't hear him, but from the frown he caught when he looked up he assumed that she knew what he had said. She would argue with him that he was not as young as he used to be, even if he still thought he was.

Maria was ready to fight her father on what he wanted to be called, because she was sure whatever he came up with would be stupid. She couldn't live the rest of her life knowing her daughter called him something like G-Pa.

"Maria don't ruin my moment!" He said, trying to shush whatever Maria was about to say to him. Still hormonal, Maria's face flushed red in anger. Both Pepper and Steve knew better then to get in the way of the two Starks. They both silently watched from a safe distance, waiting for them to tire themselves out.

"YOUR MOMENT?" Maria hissed, sitting up to grab the baby out of his arms. Tony was quick to jump back. He wasn't done with her yet, and Maria wasn't getting her back until he was. His granddaughter didn't stir from the sudden movements.

"Would you look at that? Mom is already trying to get in the way of PopZ time." Maria's anger rose when his face lit up. Maria was right; he would come up with something stupid.

"I hate you." Maria said, too tired to fight with him. Tony laughed knowing he had won. He was sure Maria would figure out a way to change his name later, but for now he thought he had the coolest name ever.

The end.
