Hinata and Kiba were sitting at the tea-shop. The dog-boy was gobbling down dango after dango while the shy-girl was slowly sipping tea. Akamaru sat outside the tiny shop, he could not fit in! The two teammates were enjoying a hot Summer day.
"Well, Hina-chan, it's time to go practice." Kiba said sadly when he finished his dango and Hinata finished her tea. It was around 2 in the afternoon when they finished.
"That's okay, Kiba-kun! We can spar together." Hinata cheered without stuttering, Kiba and Neji worked hard to help her stop stuttering; she still let out a few stutters every once in a while.
Kiba nodded and the two walked outside to be joined with Akamaru. Hinata smiled and petted the dog. Akamaru's back reached to her stomach and his head reached her breast-bone.
When the two ninjas arrived at the clearing in the forest Shino was not there. While Kiba was slightly angered his teammate was not there, he was almost jumping in joy at the opportunity of being with Hinata for another few hours.
"Well, Hina-chan, lets start!" Kiba counted down from 3 and threw a kunai at Hinata. She blocked it with another kunai and started to spar.
They finally stopped when Hinata fell down from exhaustion. Kiba was close to, but wanted to prove his "manliness." But being the 'gentaldog' he is, Kiba flopped right next to Hinata.
"It's okay, Hina-chan. You'll become strong!" Kiba cheered loudly when Hinata started to get a little bit down, "Someday you will be stronger then Neji!"
Hinata rolled her eyes and stretched her sore body like a cat. She was so tired that she couldn't get up. Yet her stomach was calling, grumbling and rumbling loudly.
Kiba laughed at her tummy, "Come-on Hina-chan! Lets go eat!" Kiba didn't know a lot of food places around The Hidden Leaf because he was either on a mission or his mother/sister made him dinner. Hinata's clan never went out to eat unless it was ninja-related.
"Uh. Hina-chan? Do you know where to eat?" Kiba unsurely asked. Hinata looked around at the busy street and shook her head.
"D-didn't Sakura's parents own a diner?" Hinata mumbled.
Kiba nodded and looked for the diner that Sakura told him about. It was called the Red Cherry Blossom. Kind of ironic that Sakura's name is Cherry Blossom and her hair is pink.
"There it is!" Hinata called out and grabbed Kiba's hand to drag him into the diner.
"Hinata! Kiba!" Sakura's mother called out to the couple -couple as in 2, not together.
"Hello Mrs. Koeino. (I know this is not her real name, I just do not know it) is there a table for two?" Kiba asked the nice, old lady.
Mrs. Koeino nodded and led them to the far corner. Out of the way of everything and everyone else. Kiba was relieved at the spot, he really wanted to tell Hinata something.
Mrs. Koeino gave both the teens a small menu, it was family owned so everything was small. For being small and out of the way, it's won of the best diners around.
"I would like a hamburger, medium rare, no cheese please." Kiba said, smiling at Mrs. Koeino, also giving her his menu.
"Can I please have a chicken-salad, ranch on the side?" Hinata softly asked. Mrs. Koeino nodded and asked for a drink.
"What would you like, Hina-chan?" Kiba politely asked.
"I'll have water…" Hinata mumbled. Kiba nodded and asked for the same.
"It'll be out soon!" The old lady said to the two.
After the two got their food Kiba suddenly cleared his throat and looked in Hinata's eyes.
"Hinata, you are the most beautiful, wonderful, fantastic lady I have ever met. I think… I know! I love you! Will-you-be-my-girlfriend?" Kiba rushed out. Hinata giggled.
"Yes! Yes, I will." Hinata laughed. Kiba picked her up and twirled. Kissing Hinata on the cheek. Hinata started laughing.
And that, was Hinata's and Kiba's wonderful day!
*Back To Akamaru*
Akamaru felt lonely, his master and his best-friend left! Even though, Akamaru found a nice lady-dog to hang out with.
