Crying in the rain

I wish he was here. I need to hear his voice one last time. I'm trapped in this nightmare, in this desert, so thirsty, sun rays burning through my very soul. I am going blind and hopeless. I've been wandering here for ages, dragging my feet, longing for rescue. How did I get here? Where is this place? It's torrid, for sure. And all I'm praying for is just one single drop of water to feel life is not about to leave my body.
Hey, Blondie, is that you, for real?
Please, save me, one last time…Please.
Don't you cry! Now that you're here, my fever will go away. I will drink whatever you brought me.
Wait for me… Don't fade away…
He opens his eyes. Slow motion. He feels water on his face. Cold. He feels something warm too. His eyes try to focus and see… more water… is it … rain? What he is doing lying in the street? Someone is holding him. He feels secure. What is it that feels warm on his face? … Tears?… Not his own!… HIS! And suddenly he feels so much alive and thankful, just watching blue eyes crying in the rain.
