"Happy Arbor Day, Roxas!" the redhead proclaimed, bursting in his friend's door, and just walking in.

"What are you talking about? What's Arbor Day?" Roxas asked, thinking Axel was crazy.

"Oh come on, you know. It's the holiday celebrating trees!" Axel said, and Roxas just stared at him.

"Um...okay. Anyways, I was just about to go for a walk. Do you wanna come with me?" Roxas asked, and Axel thought for a second, then a stupid grin spread across his face causing Roxas, who was sitting down, to stand up and take a few steps back.

"I sherwood. Get it, Roxy? Sherwood? Sure would?" Axel said, chuckling lightly at his own pun. Roxas, however, didn't find it as funny, and just rolled his eyes. "Come on, let's just go already before you think of any more lame jokes," Roxas said, and started walking to his door.

"Okay," Axel said, grinning again, "But it might chilly out so I maple on a jacket. Do you get it? Maple? May pull?" Axel started laughing again, and Roxas just sighed, and headed out the door, with Axel following behind. When they were in the hallway, Axel spoke again.

"You know, it'd be better if we could ride a bike, instead of walking, but I guess not, since neither of us have a two-cedar. Haha, like two-seater?" Axel said, laughing even harder this time. Roxas sighed and started rubbing his temples.

"You know, you're lucky I put up with you, because I doubt anyone else could," Roxas said.

"You're right. I'm not poplar enough. You get it? Poplar? Popular? Oh man, I am so good," Axel said, laughing. At this, Roxas' eye started twitching.

"Let's just go now, Axel, and please for the love of humanity, no more tree jokes!"

"I'm just trying to branch out and try new things, Roxas," Axel said, doubling over with laughter. Roxas just sighed, opened the door, and stomped out. Axel ran out and caught up to him.

"Roxas, I get it. No more jokes...oak-ay?" Axel said, nudging Roxas with his elbow, still grinning. Roxas glared at him.

"One more joke, Axel, and you," he said pointing, "Will owe me your life." Axel just burst out laughing now.

"Haha good one! Will owe? Willow? You're a genius! I've taught you so well," Axel said.

"No! I didn't mean that!" Roxas said clenching his fists.

"Aw, come on. Do you really want me to leaf you alone? Get it? Leaf? Leave?" Axel said. Roxas looked like he was about to punch something...which, knowing him, wasn't that unlikely. Roxas thought for a second, then looked straight at Axel.

"I think I've got a way to make you shut up," he said, and Axel raised an eyebrow. Roxas took a step closer to Axel, grabbed the front of his shirt with two hands, pulled him closer, and smashed his lips against Axel's, whose eyes grew big. It only lasted a few seconds, but when Roxas pulled away, Axel was, indeed speechless... at least for a few seconds, until a mischievous grin spread across his face.

"So, Roxas...how long have you been pining after me?"
