When in Rome

Down from the north,

The cold wind blows.

I've got snow in my hair,

And frost on my toes.

...

Thrust back through time,

When I thought I had died.

A life in the past,

And I still don't know why.

...

The soldiers share stories,

And dream of Rome.

While in the event that I dream,

I do so alone.

...

I dream of Amy,

I dream of her face.

Out there with the Doctor,

Up there in space.

...

Jupiter, Jesus,

Both to whom soldiers pray.

I make wishes myself,

For a warmer day.

...

Maybe one day,

I'll catch a ride home.

But until then,

I'm out here alone.
