Perfect Love

Chapter 1

One day the toys in bonnie's room were having a nice night off because bonnie had gone to her friends house for a sleepover. This night was particularly special for a certain space ranger and cowgirl. When Jessie woke up this morning, long after bonnie had left for Sunnyside, as usual, she found a post-it lying next to her. It read dear Jessie, please meet me at the windowsill later tonight - buzz

Jessie gave a slight sigh. Just buzz. Not even any type of ending like, see you later buzz, or I cant wait buzz. Nope just buzz. But that's the way her space mans always been. Even back in Andy's room whenever he would talk to her he would stutter. Even though Jessie found it ridiculously cute and sweet, she still hoped he would take it one step more. She was quite shocked when he actually danced with her in front of everyone that first day with bonnie. Jessie knew how she felt about buzz but she didn't know how he felt about her and that was beginning to be a problem. maybe I'll talk to buzz tonight and get things straight once and for all, Jessie thought.

Night rolled around and Jessie couldn't wait. Buzz had been MIA all day and she just wanted some alone time with him. When Jessie reached the window sill she saw buzz standing there gazing up at the stars. She smiled, the way the moonlight lit up his handsome features could melt Jessie like butter right on the spot. When buzz turned to greet her the smile he gave her was brighter than any star in the sky. "hey" was all he said "howdy partner, you wanted to see me" Jessie said with as much normality as she could muster. "it's a beautiful night tonight isn't it." buzz exclaimed staring at the sky once more. Jessie nodded. "was there a reason you wanted to see me tonight, and a reason I couldn't find you all day?" Jessie asked softly.

Buzz turned to Jessie and said only a few words but they struck a chord in Jessie that sent chills right down her spine. "I want to talk … about us"

Chapter Two

"About us, what about us partner" Jessie said calmly. Then buzz started to speak " Jessie, we've known each other a pretty long time and have been through a lot. When we were on to what I believed was the end I had only one thought on my mind. I thought about all the missed opportunities to show you how much you really mean to me. Im not very good with words around you anyways so I took all day to practice what I was going to say." he took a deep breath and Jessie did the same. "Jessie … I love you, and not the kind of love you have for a friend or the kind of love you have for your owner but the kind of love that takes one of the bravest space rangers and makes him scared, scared of embarrassing himself in front of the woman he loves. Well im not afraid anymore" he took her hands "Jessie I love you with all the love a toy can possibly have in his heart. And also I've been wanting to do this for a while." buzz took Jessie and kissed her with what felt like everything he had.

Jessie felt her heart soar as she deepened the kiss. When the two finally stopped, looked at buzz and yelled a big "YEE-HAWW. Buzz I love you too."and this time it was buzz's turn to feel like his feet were off the floor. The kiss stopped when buzz's wings popped out startling the two lovers. Buzz just looked at Jessie with awe. "jess," he began "you just made me the happiest space ranger ever" the two kissed some more, both feeling that there were many years to make up for, and fell asleep in each others arms. That night Jessie replayed the nights events in her head over and over again, waking up every once in a while to make sure it wasn't a dream.

They might not have been made for each other but they had something that was very rare to find. Perfect love.
