Canada sighed wearily as he walked through his front door. The day had been long, and the paperwork had seemed endless, not to mention the few times he had been sat on or tripped over. Although all this was pretty much a common occurrence, today had felt like it was ten times worse. He shrugged off his coat, wistfully the hoping for a chance to sit down and rest, but he knew that there would most likely be-

"Hey Mattie!" Yup. Matthew looked up at the grinning Prussian that had once again invaded his home. Not that he minded usually. "Awesomeness is here!"

"Hey Gil," he said, sluggishly kneeling down to remove his boots. "You want pancakes right? Just hold on a minute, I'll make you some."

Gilbert stared down at the small blonde man, eyebrows furrowed. "What's up with you today?"

"Hm, wha- oh nothing. I'm fine." Canada stepped out of his shoes and started walking towards the kitchen, only to be pulled back by the other's hand.

"No no no, I don't think it's nothing." Prussia spun him around so they were stood facing eachother. "Shit Mattie, you look like crap." Thanks for the heads up."No seriously, you look like you're gonna pass out any second." There was now a trace of worry in the Prussian's voice, but Matt brushed him off, slapping his hands away.

"I'm fine Gil, really. I'm just a bit tired." Gilbert snorted disbelievingly. "Look, I'm going to go make us some food now, so you can just sit down or something."

"Nope!" Gilbert cut off his path to the kitchen a second time, now dragging him into the living room.

"Gil, what are you-" the Canadian gave a small 'oof' as he was pushed onto the couch.

"No birdie, you're gonna sit down, I'll make some food for us, 'kay?"

"But you're the guest Gilbert, I should really-"

"Right, I'm the guest, and I want you to lie down and rest for a bit. Besides, if you fall asleep at the stove, it's gonna leave some pretty nasty burns on you face. And you're way too cute for me to let that happen." Matthew turned a light pink, but continued to tiredly glare at the older man, annoyed at being ordered around and interrupted so many times. "Right, so you: Lie down, rest a bit, and let me worry about the food and stuff, alright birdie?" Canada gave a resigned sigh and finally lay down on the couch.

Gilbert seemed satisfied with this, and walked off to grab a blanket or something for his cute little Mattie~ He wandered back into the lounge a few minutes later. "Yo Matt, I got you a…" he trailed off as he came around the couch, spotting Matthew curled up, fast asleep, nestling into the cushions. Gil smiled, and carefully laid the blanket across his body.

"Gute nacht, mein liebling."
