She wasn't one to be romantic, though he could easily fulfill that role. While she was out shopping with her family, he had taken the opportunity to lay rose petals all over her room, light scented candles and oils, and play soft, ambiance-setting music for when she returned. He had even went to the length of shaping some of those petals into hearts on her pillow.

While he could've been dressed in something more fancy than a velvet robe, he mentally insisted that it was just perfect, despite the fact that he had worn it once for her sister.

The door opened and he spun around, arms open wide.
