"Shoot! Umm, guys I sort of left something in the classroom. I'll catch up with you guys later?" I said.

"That's cool. See ya Sonny." They all replied as they walked away. Once they were out of sight I began running all the way to Ms. Bitterman's classroom hoping no one saw that piece of paper I left on my desk earlier. You might be wondering, why would I care if someone saw that piece of paper? Well, that paper just so happens to have Chad Dylan Coopers name written inside of a heart. It may not seem like a big deal, but if Chad or anyone ever saw it I would never hear the end of it. Plus, he obviously doesn't feel the same way so I'll just end up making a fool of myself. As I entered the classroom, my eyes grew wide. Of course, fate why do you hate me? There standing with the piece of paper in his hands, was the Chad Dylan Cooper. Who looked up and saw me standing at the doorway. He was about to speak when I ran over to him and hastily snatched the piece of paper out of his hands and held it as though someone were about to try and steal it at any second. I then averted my gaze to the floor, not being able to meet his eyes. We just stood their awkwardly until I broke the silence.

"Go on. Laugh. Make fun of me. Tell me how much of a joke I am for actually thinking that you might ever love me back." I said coldly. My attention still on the floor.

"Sonny, I'm not going to make fun of you and-" She scoffed. And replied before giving him a chance to finish his sentence.

"Yeah right. I know your just dying to say-" Now it was his turn to cut her off.

"Look at the paper."

"What?"

"Look at the paper." he repeated. She looked at him suspiciously, then hesitantly looked down at the paper. And on it was my name, written neatly in Chad's handwriting inside of a circle. A circle? Why would he write my name inside of a circle.

"Umm, Chad? Why did you write my name inside of a circle?" I asked curiously.

He smiled.

"You really want to know?" I then nodded my head furiously. He chuckled at my reaction. "Well, there was a quote that I read. 'If you love someone put their name in a circle not a heart, because a heart can be broken, a circle goes on forever.'" Wait? Did he just say he loves me? Wait, not technically. He just wrote it. Either way, Oh, my gosh! Chad Dylan Cooper loves me! I could feel heat rising in my cheeks. I tried to hide it, but I I know he noticed. Cause right then and there he smirked and slowly leaned in and place a gentle kiss on my lips. But the kiss ended just as soon as it started as he began walking out the door. "See you later Sonshine." He said as he turned around to wink and turned back around and left the room. As soon as I was sure he was gone. I smiled as I placed my fingers on where is lips just were. I then looked down at the piece of paper and realized something was wrong. I grabbed my pencil and erased the heart from around his name and drew a neat circle around it as I smiled in satisfaction. Knowing that I, Sonny Monroe, have fallen in love with Chad Dylan Cooper. And I am pretty sure he too fell in love with me.
