AN: I never own "House" when I write stories, you know that! Use your imagination as to when this takes place, because I think it could be suitable at any time. If you want it to be when he is still on the drugs, just think about how he would probably take a Vicodin when he wakes up, and so on and so forth. Please review!

Padded footsteps and light snoring were the only sounds filling the quiet apartment. It was three in the morning, and Cuddy had decided to get revenge on House for waking her up in the middle of the night, multiple times.

She crept into his room, and sat down on the side of the bed unoccupied by him. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness, and the moon was enough to help illuminate the room and his sleeping figure. Cuddy touched him lightly on the shoulder, and his breathing hitched indicating he was startled and awake. She heard the rustling of the blankets as his head turned, and looked down at him with a smile.

"What the hell are you doing here?" a gruff and slightly hoarse voice inquired.

"It's payback." She smirked. "All of the times you've woken me up are finally coming back around and biting you on the ass. How does it feel to be wide awake at three in the morning?"

"Cuddles, since you woke me up, it feels awesome. But since you're above me for once and I don't have the incredible view I usually do of those scrumptious looking funbags, awful." House sat up, a dull ache in his thigh beginning, and turned on a lamp. He squinted his eyes as they became adjusted to the newly introduced light, and rubbed his face.

"Now that you're here…"

"House, no."

"Damn it, you wake me up in the middle of the night, get me excited that you may finally return all of the sexual favors I've done for you, and now you shoot me down."

Cuddy chuckled and scooted toward house, sitting with her back against pillows on the headboard.

"Nice place you've got here. A little messy, though."

"Hey, I'm not perfect." House made himself more comfortable, and his eyes began drooping again.

Cuddy looked over at him. "There is no way you are falling asleep right now."

"But I'm tired," House whined, slouching back down almost into a lying position.

"You kept me up almost all of the night every time you came to my house!" Cuddy argued and gently slapped his face.

House would have answered, had he not been already snoring.

I hope you liked this short little piece inspired by the growing relationship that is Huddy!
