"I love you."

The host club had retired for the day. Mori and Honey-senpai had left first and then the Hitachiin twins left, dragging along Haruhi, much to her dismay.

As Kyouya got ready to leave the third music room, he glanced at Tamaki who was sitting on the ledge against the large windows, gazing out at the large Academy. For a moment-just for a single moment, Kyouya was captivated; the soft, blonde locks, the exquisite amethyst eyes and the beautiful frame and structure of his friend's body. He was the embodiment of everything that spelt out perfection. To his eyes at least, although, he doubted that any of the other female students would disagree.

"Tamaki?"

There was no immediate response as the Host King still laid his eyes out the window. But he slowly turned his head towards Kyouya, amethyst meeting with black.

"I love you."

The words lingered around the room. Kyouya widened his eyes but barely enough for Tamaki to notice. The Shadow King stared back at the blonde as the words began to sink in.

"Tamaki…saying that…"

Kyouya slowly uttered and Tamaki waited, his eyes glinting. He gripped onto the ledge and bit his lower lip while his whole body stiffened.

"…will not earn us any merits."

Tamaki loosened his body as he let of go of the ledge. His face looked sullen, and almost every inch of his body wanted to ache and break at that very spot but quickly masked it with a happy grin. Kyouya had noticed.

"Ha, you're right. I'm sorry, I should've known better. Well then, we should leave now!"

As Tamaki hopped off the ledge, he looked up at Kyouya with a beaming smile along with a lonesome tear, drifting down the side of his face.

And for a moment-just for a single moment, Kyouya was captivated.

a/n: Gyah, I would never have thought that I would bring myself to write something like this. I was in the midst of rewatching OHSHC and I must say, find this pairing beautiful *_* and I decided to take a break and go read some fanfics about them but along the way, thought I should make one myself o3o. It's my first time writing something of –this- genre and actually, my first fanfic (my past writings are with my OCs).

My writing it pretty lame and I admit to going on the E dictionary for some words but it's a start. Hope people enjoyed and reviews would be awesome.
