"Stop. Stop. Are we doing this right?"

It's a hurried whisper between kisses and first sayings of "I love you", and he doesn't know the answer to her question. When he doesn't reply, she pulls away from him completely and is bathed in the moonlight streaming in from the window behind her. In his eyes, she's beautiful.

"I mean, aren't we meant to be in a relationship first before we fall in love, Theo?" she continues, turning towards the beautiful night sky and gazing out.

He takes a step behind her, wrapping his arms around her slim waist and burying his face in the crook of her shoulder. He kisses it, trying to think of a suitable answer. "I don't know," he murmurs thoughtfully. "I was kind of hoping you knew."

She turns around in his arms and he can tell she doesn't know either look in her eyes. She's honestly bothered by this so he leans down and kisses her again, murmuring against her lips that it can wait until morning because, really, it can.
