Hello peoples! This is only my 2nd story, and I'm honestly surprised I have anything up, but ANYWAY, any and all reviews are appreciated. Flames are accepted, but only so I can make s'mores :P

Okay, before I say any soft of disclaimer, I'd like to say there's really no point in a disclaimer. If I owned it, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction, now would I? So, yeah…

Disclaimer: As I said, If I owned it I wouldn't be writing fanfiction. And there would be more AkuRoku and SoRiku. Not to mention CLeon and Zemyx!

Emeralds or Sapphires?

His eyes were a bright emerald green, rimmed with a bit of black eyeliner. He was funny, affectionate, and kind. He had his quirks, but he was still amazing. His fire-engine-red hair always stuck out in spikes, the color complimenting his eyes perfectly.

There was flirting between us often, though I wasn't entirely sure about my feelings towards him.

His eyes were shining sapphire blue. They reminded me of the sky on a sunny, cloudless day. He was fun to be around, a little bit naïve, and we're comfortable around each other. His blonde hair was always carefully gelled into gravity-defying spikes. He was one of my best friends, and I knew he had a crush on me.

But I didn't know how I felt about him either.

But when it narrowed down to a choice between the two boys, it was a hard decision. They both meant so much to me. But they forced me to choose.
And the question became, to me, which gem was more valuable - emeralds or sapphires?

I couldn't answer, so they both left.

Even on my deathbed at eighty-six years old, I was contemplating which one of them I should have chosen.

And no one heard my final word, the gemstone I thought was worth everything.

There you are, my second story. To anyone actually reading this, thankyouthankyouthankyou. I'm pretty sure this totally sucks, but whatever. And just 'cause I was thinking about it, a message to all Zemyx-haters: You know how some of you have said they don't belong together because they're not in the same game? 358 Days came out and, lookie there, whaddaya know? Zexion and Demyx are both in the same friggin' game! Some of you also complain about them being total opposites, so there's no way they can get along. Did you never pay attention in science class? Opposites attract!

ANYWAY, before I start yelling at you and getting even more off topic, if you couldn't figure it out, I'm describing Axel and Roxas in the story.
