I don't own anything, but CHESTER! I hope you all enjoy!
Roxas couldn't understand why he felt all choked up like a he was being forced to sallow around a giant stone. The sad thing was he knew why he was like this, it was all because of Axel and his dammed mission.
It was supposed to be a normal mission to the other castle, Castle Oblivion, but that was weeks ago and now they were saying everyone was destroyed that went there. Roxas had to admit he was a train wreck without Axel to keep him on track.
"Roxy?" Demyx's voice poked through the fog of his brain. "Hmm?" I looked to see him looking at me with teary eyes and his lower lip wobbling. "Are you okay? You haven't left your room in a while."
I almost smiled Demyx had appointed himself as my big "brother". "Yeah I'm good I was just getting ready to go on my mission. See you when I get back?" He nodded his head eager that I was moving around again and not becoming a human potato.
"Yeppers! And we can play with Chester!" He cried scooping up our pet heartless. God knows how he got that worked out with Xemnas. "Sure" I said before summoning a Corridor of Darkness to Twilight Town.
When I stepped through my insides clenched with the realization that after this mission there wouldn't be ice cream with Axel. "No! Focus you don't need Axel!" He tried to convince himself, but it was pretty useless cause he knew that he needed Axel.
NO! He roared at himself as he began to set off to dispose of whatever heartless was causing trouble this time. And from the looks of it they weren't all that dangerous just giant purple blobs.
Well, now that that's over time to go to the clock tower! I set off in the clock towers direction not bothering to stop to get ice cream, without Axel it tasted salty and bitter.
When I reached the tower it was raining giving it an imposing look that chilled Roxas to the bone, but he set on until he finally reached the top where they would sit. He gently laid on his back and stared up at the dark sky.
"I wonder where you are?" He mused out loud. "I want to be with you now" He gently began to sing. "I need to be with you" Axel I miss you godammit! I don't care if we can't feel… I…I "I LOVE YOU, DAMMITT!" He screamed up at the sky and prayed that somewhere he was heard.
"Where'd you learn to do that? A sheepish voice broke through his fog and had him sitting up as fast as possible. "AXEL!" He cried before flinging himself at the redhead. "Whoa! Miss me much?"
I nodded my head as tears began to slid down my face. Oh, god how I'd missed him. "I missed you too." He whispered into my hair his voice soothing to my ears. "Did you mean it when you said you loved me?"
I nodded again and clung to him tighter, trying to memorize how he felt in my arms. "Good! I've been waiting!" He cried out in joy before pulling me away and staring warmly down at me.
"I've waited so long for you Roxy." He murmured as he leaned down and captured my lips with his in a soft kiss. "I want to be with you know, we should stay together" I burrowed my head into his collar as he kept singing and even the rain seemed to know that distance only brought us closer.
"I love you, Axel." "Love you too." Even this distance could embrace.
