Sebastian's Nightmare? Chapter 13

Ciel walked around slowly, letting the cold envelope him as he kept from thinking about everything that has happened. He swiped his cane across the top of the wooden bench to move snow out of the way and then sat down, not caring that it ruined his jacket or would seep into his clothes. He glared down at his rounded belly without any real heat. He just didn't like that his balance was thrown off when he walked.

Ciel flinched when he heard a sound of metal clank and a shrill yell. He looked towards the direction of the noise and then furrowed his brow when he heard a metallic sounding roar. It was deafeningly silent when the noise cut off. He started to hear the crunching of snow as someone walked towards where he was and he contemplated quickly getting up and walking back to the cabin. But before he could really move he saw the person and the person saw him.

"Well, well, little Phantomhive. What are you doing all the way out here?"

"Grell Sutcliffe." Ciel said neutrally as he leaned forward against his cane, hiding his belly from the death god. "I'm out here for some fresh air. What are you doing here?"

"I just finished a job." Grell* said. The man's eyes suddenly lit up. "If you're here, then that means your hunk of a butler is here as well!" Ciel grit his teeth in anger and glared at the man. He didn't know why it irked him so, considering how Grell chasing after Sebastian used to amuse him.

"Hmph. He isn't around." Ciel said sounding disinterested but he smirked when he saw the smile fall off the death god's face.

"Well I doubt he's too far if you are here. He wouldn't want anything to happen to his meal now would he?" Grell said. Ciel just sneered at him. "Oya, and he must be feeding you well considering how fat you are."

"I am NOT FAT!" Ciel burst out loudly startling the death god. "You're fat!"

"I AM NOT!" Grell screeched. "You're the fat one! No wonder Sebastian isn't here. He probably can't stand the sight of you!" He didn't even notice the man's face when he started tearing up because he was too focused on trying to not be hormonal but it just made it worse. And hearing the man say that just made him start crying.

"You idiot." Ciel managed to say and then hiccupped. "I'm not fat. I'm pregnant." Grell's face went from shock to disbelief and then twisted in a peculiar way that made Ciel smile a little but the smile dropped when Grell glared at him.

"You're lying!" Grell said sounding slightly hysterical. "No way would my Sebastian touch you! Some other demon must have knocked you up." Ciel glared at the man and then tilted his head up while moving his arms so the death god could clearly see his stomach.

"I'm not." Ciel said condescendingly "Sebastian couldn't wait to get me alone. The only reason why I'm outside is so I can rest a little before I'm ravaged again. I've been here for three days and this is the first time I've been outside." Ciel finished smugly not really caring that he was lying.

It was quiet for a few seconds and he couldn't tell what the death god's expression was since his red hair was covering his face. Ciel's eyes widened and he instinctively shielded his stomach when Grell lifted his death scythe. His eyes slammed shut as he geared for the pain but it never came.

Sebastian had let his master walk around outside but kept an eye on him, following him through the trees. Even though he was told to let the boy have space he knew that trouble would always appear at anytime where it concerned the young Phantomhive. So he observed the boy for now.

He quickly straightened from his relaxed position when he heard the tell tail sound of a bear trap but internally rolled his eyes when a human yell of distress followed. He frowned when he heard the familiar roar of a very specific piece of equipment. When he realized the person was heading towards where his master sat he thought about whisking the boy away but it seemed that his master had been spotted.

Sebastian just sat back and watched the interaction between his master and the red-haired death god. He felt his hackles rise when his master started to cry but calmed himself when he saw that the boy was showing off that he was pregnant with his child. He realized what the death god was going to do before the man had even moved.

"Se-ba-ckh-" Grell had tried to say but Sebastian had his hand around the man's throat and squeezed cutting the death god off.

"If you harm my master or my child, consider your life forfeit." Sebastian said darkly as he glared with his red glowing eyes. He then threw the man away from him and stomped on the man's death scythe. After hearing a satisfying crunch he turned to his master and scooped him up in his arms. Without a backwards glance he walked back to the cabin.

*Note: Grell identifies as female but this is from Ciel's point of view so he registers Grell as a man since that is how he was first introduced to him and he was kind of traumatized at the time when Grell told Sebastian he was a female, you know, what with having his Aunt murdered right in front of him. He just wants the death god to go away.
