AT LEAST, a drabble for the Elements challenge on xoxLewrahxox.
In case the story really isn't clear, which is quite likely – this is Bellatrix, and the elements ruling her life. For me she belongs to every element, like a part of her belongs in every house – bravery, loyalty, wit, ambition – and so I did each element a different part of her life. Her youth, her fighting, her wasting away, and finally, her insanity...

Elements

Write a 100-word or a 500-word fic about a HP character (or characters) and one or more of the classical elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. You can relate the character to one of the elements (for example, Dumbledore = Air), or write about something dealing with the elements (for example, the fire in the potions chamber in Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone).

Fiery. Fierce.

Flames suited her, black flames burning in her eyes. Sie always knew she would dance in an inferno, and laugh.

She was consumed.

Grounded in values, she stood straight and proud, unwavering. Her wrath wrecked her own self through and shook the whole world.

Earthquakes.

She didn't flinch.

They couldn't place her, slipping through everyone's fingers. Boiling – cold – a crushing caress.

Her inner storm pulled her under.

Drowning.

They said she was mad.

She tasted blood on her tongue, and vertigo.

Unstable.

Her head was whirling. Dance, the voices ordered, and dance she did.

With death.

She fell.
