Me-Edward do the disclaimer now.
Edward-I don't want to.
Me-Do you want me to go get Jane and Alec?
Edward-Why do you need Alec if you have Jane?
Me-Because, Alec is AWESOME!
Alec-Thank you!
Me-S-sure. Now do the disclaimer Edward!
Edward-NO!

Edward-Okay, okay I'm doing it! McKenzie doesn't own anything even though
she wishes she does.
Me-Thank you.
Alec-So you think I'm awesome, huh?
Me-Oh boy.
Alice POV
He should have been at the diner by then. I had seen him more and more recently, but I was beginning to think that the visions were wrong and he wouldn't come. I was hit suddenly with the unmistakable of vampire. I swiveled around in my seat and saw him! I guess the visions were right.
Jasper. He looked even more beautiful in person. He had long, honey-blonde curls, and right now his eyes were almost black. Just like the rest of us, he had unnaturally pale skin and straight angular features. He was very tall, around the height of six foot two.
I hopped off of the bar stool and started walking toward him. He looked shocked and, given his past, he probably thought that I was going to attack him. I stopped in front of him, with a bright smile.
"You've kept me waiting a long time." Now he just looked confused, which was very cute.
"I'm sorry ma'am." He apologized in his heavy southern accent and ducked his honey-blonde head.
I offered my hand to him, which he took wearily but without hesitation. I led him out of the diner, into the pouring rain, without a clue where we were going.
Jasper POV
It was raining cats and dogs outside; it didn't bother me but it would look strange if I stood outside in the rain for the rest of the day so I ducked into the nearest diner that I could find. It was small and half-empty, with a cook making French fries in the back.
I was immediately hit with the scent of a fellow vampire, something that I hadn't encountered in months. Sure enough a rather short girl, with sort, black, spiky hair, and a eyes that were a strange shade of gold came up to me. My first instinct was that she was going to attack me.
But she was smiling and the emotions that were emanating from her were nothing that I had ever felt before. They were the emotions, love, hope, and the most surprising one of all, trust. She stopped in front of me with a large smile. Being near her gave me an odd sense of security and peace. Nothing that I had ever experienced in my years in the newborn army.
But I didn't mind them; they felt amazing.
"You've kept me waiting a long time." I was confused by her words, but I didn't care. I just wanted her near me and to be able to protect her.
"I'm sorry, ma'am." I ducked my head like the southern gentleman that my mother raised me to be.
She held out her hand to me and I took it without making any sense of what I was doing. She led me out of the diner and I knew in that one moment, that I would do anything for this woman, be anything for this woman, and follow her anywhere.
For the first time in a century, I felt hope.
A/N: Hey! I decided to redo this because the first one was seriously crappy. So I hope you like it!
