This is Angela meeting Meredith for the first time, when shes pregnant with Claire.

"Hello, Meredith."

The blonde woman with a stomach large with the signs of a human growing inside narrowed her eyes. "Do I know you?"

Angela Petrelli smiled tightly. "No, dear. Im Angela Petrelli. Nathan' mother."

Meredith winced inwardly. "Come in," she stood aside from the apartment door.

Angela entered.

"What are you doing here, Mrs. Petrelli?" Meredith asked.

"I think you know. You're a smart girl, I'm sure."

Meredith blinked. Most people wouldn't assume she was smart, getting pregnant young and unwed. "You're here to make sure we dont cause problems for Nathan." Meredith said, placing a hand on her stomach.

"I only wish to do what's best for my son. And my grandchild."

The last part caught Meredith by surprise. This woman wasn't like most people. "How?"

"Nathan doesn't need a daughter born out of wedlock. Or a wife he married because she was pregnant." Angela said. "And your child needs a good life. My husband and I will take care of the monetary issues. A new apartment, a good education... All of that."

Meredith stared. "That's... Very kind. Im assuming it comes with a 'never contact Nathan again'?"

Angela nodded. "Be honest. You dont love him."

Her directness caught Meredith off guard. Again.

"You are fond of my son, but you thought your relationship would be fun for a while, then he could go back to New York and you could forget about him." Angela smiled at the look on Meredith's face. "I dont mind, dear. You know Nathan felt the same way."

"We didn't except this to happen..." Meredith murmured.

Angela's eyes flicked up and down Meredith, examing her. "Shes going to be very special, you know." she said at length.

Meredith smiled softly. "I know."

Angela nodded sharply. "Well. I'll be back tomorrow to go over the details of our compensation, and to show you your new apartment. Goodbye, Meredith."

Meredith smiled politely. "Goodbye, Mrs. Petrelli."

Only after she was gone did Meredith wonder how Angela knew she was having a girl.

So. Considering I wrote this at 6am, with no sleep all night, is it any good?
