The Color Red

Her screams filled the hall.

(Music to my ears.)

She trashed violently on the ground, a mix of screams and cries, her red hair whipping her across the face.

"Filthy blood traitor!"I smirked and held the curse longer. Her face twisted into a painful expression.

I released the curse. Her screams subsided instantly. She was sweaty, hair sticking to her face. She panted and remained still, apprehensive.

I crept toward her and she whimpered, eyeing me.

"Hush, little baby," I sang as I knelt beside her, "don't say a word…"

And I slide the blade across her pretty neck.
