A/N: Because the thought of the Glee pair of stepbrothers acting in such a manner would be amusing as frick. XD

They sit on the couch together over winter break, watching re-runs of Drake & Josh on TeenNick, both of them not really caring about the sitcom since it's something they haven't liked since they were younger, but it's surprisingly funny and one of the only decent things on television at this time of day.

A scene rolls around near the conclusion of an episode, a scene that happens quite often: Drake and his stepbrother Josh accomplish something, usually a problem they created but mended, and Josh (or sometimes Drake) calls out, "Hug me, brotha!" enthusiastically, and Drake leaps into Josh's arms.

Grinning, Finn glances over at his new stepbrother. "Hey, Kurt," he says, and with mild interest, his eyes still glued on the screen, the soprano hums a vague response. Still smiling in that lopsided way he does, Finn opens up his arms and says loudly, mockingly, "Hug me, brothahhh!"

Kurt's eyes slowly pan over to the much taller male and there's a bored expression on his face, but his eyes seem to be laughing on the inside. "No, Finn. Just… no. That's weird."

"Aww, come on, don't leave me hangin' like this," Finn pouts. He twitches his mittened fingers, inviting Kurt over to his side of the couch. "You know you want to hug me."

"No," Kurt repeats, a blush crawling onto his features. They might be brothers now, but Finn is a past crush of Kurt, and hugging him would just be… embarrassing. And lame. And did Kurt mention embarrassing?

"If you don't give me a hug, Kurt, I'm gonna be forced to steal one from you," Finn threatens, his smile growing as he looms closer.

Kurt leans away. "What? No! Don't, Finn, I mean it –!"

But Finn is laughing, making little sounds like a child would when they're about to tickle-tackle one of their sibings. Then, all too suddenly, Finn repeats, "Hug meeee, brotherrr!" and launches himself across the distance between them on the couch, locking Kurt in a stuffy embrace that evolves into a noogie in which the footballer gently ruffles Kurt's perfectly styled hair.

"Ack! Curse you, Finn! Ah haha, no, no, stop it, ahhh!" Kurt gasps and giggles and squeals as he tries to pry himself free from Finn's grip.

When they part, they're both breathless and laughing on the couch, a commercial rolling on the screen in front of them.

"You… are absolutely, positively, utterly ridiculous," Kurt snorts, trying to fix his mussed locks and wrinkled shirt.

Finn simply smirks and reclines backward, his legs widespread and his arms folding behind his head. "And that's part of what makes me so awesome."

"Uh-huh," Kurt agrees sarcastically, but there's a smile touching his lips, the flushed color on his cheeks slowly receding. "Just watch the stupid TV show, Finn."
