A crossover- Harry Potter/Doctor Who-

What would the Doctor think of Hermione's time-turner?

My first crossover- Please review!

"I'm very disappointed in you." The Doctor said quietly in that way that makes people feel guilty.

The girl in the chair opposite his desk looked down. He continued. "Yes, you've done some wild- crazy- stuff, Hermione, but above all you do this?"

She shrunk- if possible- even lower into her chair, looking like she wanted to disappear into it. "I'm sorry, Doctor. I didn't mean too- I thought, 'Oh well, Professor McGonagall thinks I'm responsible enough to have a time-turner, so I may as well have one...'"

The Doctor smacked his hand onto the desk in front of him. "After all I've told you- a time-turner? You could've had any time-control device on this side of the universe and you choose a time-turner? I could understand a vortex manipulator… but a time-turner? What was going through your head, Hermione? It can't even travel forward!"

Hermione hung her head. "I'm sorry. I needed it for my lessons! And I couldn't say no- Professor McGonagall went to all that trouble-"

The Doctor's sigh made her go quiet. "You know what makes me most disappointed Hermione?"

The girl looked up, her eyebrows quirked in confusion. "I didn't put it away properly that one Saturday?"

The Doctor looked at her. He blinked. "No! No, of course not!"

"I didn't tell Harry and Ron I got it?" Hermione was seriously confused.

The Doctor looked at her. "No."

"I didn't use it to return that library book?"

The Doctor looked at her oddly. "No! I was going to say that I was disappointed you didn't get in trouble, you know, get chased by any monsters, you know… seen by yourself and stuff."

Hermione grinned. "Well, I did get chased by a werewolf and spotted by myself and changed the timeline… sit down, Doctor, it's a very long story…"

It's short 'n' sweet! Please review! Hopefully I got the character's right, and hopefully you understand the plot…
