3 The Elvin Child
Can you see her over there?
She's very hard to miss,
Her blue eyes in a loving stare,
Look at her with open eyes,
She is like you or I,
She may be small with pointed ears,
But what's in your mind is what she hears,
Do not be afraid my friend,
For she is very kind,
Thoughts of laughter, joy, and life,
Fill her little mind,
She grew up in the forest you see,
Unlike you and me,
But take her hand,
She will not bite,
And see what the Elvin Child sees.
