Lucy could not believe what she was hearing! Those three words coming from him.

Her best friend.

"I love you", Natsu stared.

Lucy blushed, her cheeks turned red. She just couldn't believe it! He had a serious expression and everything! She stood there, paralyzed.

"Well?", he put his hands into his pockets.

"N-natsu when have you started to develop these feelings?", Lucy tried not to stutter.

"Ever since we first met.", he still had that serious expression on his face.

Lucy flushed a deep color of crimson. Wait, why was she blushing? Why was her heart pounding so repeatedly fast? Why was she-

"So, how do you feel about me?", he stared into her chocolate brown orbs.

"I ...-", Lucy managed to say until Gray comes out of nowhere.

"There you are flame head! We didn't get to finish that fight!" Gray yelled throwing his ice making magic at the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"What the fuck ice brain! You interrupted something important!"

"Oh yeah? Take this as important asshole!", Gray throws more of his ice magic at him.

"Oh, your gonna get it.", Natsu said with a serious tone.

The two 'best friends' continued their brawl. Lucy sighed as she passed the two, she was now heading to her safe apartment.

[That night...]

Lucy tossed and turned, she could NOT get any sleep! All what was in her mind was Natsu. Her face blushed crimson yet again. "Argh! Why can't I get it out of my mind!"

"What off your mind?", said a familiar voice.

Lucy jumped tracing the voice to the window. There, a head of pink hair. Dark green eyes, and a body of a Fire Dragon Slayer.

"W-why're you here?", she stuttered. 'Dammit I wasn't supposed to do that!' she thought to herself.

"Couldn't sleep.", Natsu said with a serious tone.

"O-oh?"

"Also another reason."

"What is it..?"

"I want to hear your answer, Lucy."

Lucy still had crimson burning on the outside of her cheeks.

"Well?"

"I...", Lucy managed to say.

Natsu crossed his arms, waiting for her answer.

"I will get back to you after I go to the bathroom!", Lucy said as she ran to the bathroom and closed the door.

The pink headed boy raised an eyebrow. This was going to take awhile.

[an hour later...]

Lucy comes out of the bathroom. "Okay I want to tell you my-"

"I already know", Natsu smiled dangerously.

"Wait - huh?", Lucy asked confused.

"Mira told me all about how you feel about me", he smirked.

'Mira! I'll get her back!' Lucy mumbled to herself until she heard him take a step forward catching her attention. She became alert, as she took a step back. "Natsu?" she whispered. But he didn't answer as he took steps forward and she took steps back.

Soon enough, there was no more space to take any steps back. A wall kept her from walking any further. Natsu kept on walking toward her, Lucy actually felt scared. She never felt this aura from him before. Was this Natsu?

As soon as Lucy snapped out of it, Natsu trapped her with two hands against the wall. Their faces almost touching, she shivered as his hot breath was blowing against her red face.

"Admit it Lucy, you love me", he smirked.

She couldn't help but smile a bit, it was so hard to say. Why was it so hard for her to talk?

"Say it.", he murmured to her ear.

"I - I do.", she mumbled only for her to hear.

"What? I couldn't hear you.", he smiled devilishly.

"I love you.", she said trying not to stutter again.

"That's all I wanted as the answer, was that so hard?"

But before Lucy could reply, a pair of warm lips crashed onto hers.

It wasn't hard, I've always did. I loved you more than anyone.
