Coffee

Even now with rationing, we still have coffee dates. We've worked on the tiberium problem for over four decades, watched it consume our planet, but it has yet to command and conquer the human spirit (no, I'm not including Nod in this discussion). With enough ration cards, one can still get their hands on coffee. Yet while I don't wish to shun my friends, I don't want to use ration cards on coffee either.

Am I allowed to drink tea on such trips? What about hot chocolate-doesn't it count as a beverage if marshmallows aren't included? As for decaf or latte…I'd find myself in a yellow zone for suggesting such a thing. So no, I'll stick with iced tea, thank you very much. We may be losing our world to a plague of green crystal, but can still make the most of it.

Don't drink coffee myself either. But coupled with a similar uni article and that coffee was still being grown in 2047...well, it's good to know that some habbits never change even in the midst of imminant extinction, fanatics and alien invasions. ;)
