As much as they didn't want to admit it, they remembered. They didn't want to admit it because they knew the things the remembered were wrong.

She remembered how strong and commanding he had the potential to be, especially when his firm lips crushed against hers. She thought about it when she was alone at night with no one to comfort her.

He remembered how tempting she could be, especially how well her body fit and molded against his. It was like they were made for each other. He thought about it when contemplating how differently his life could have turned out.

She knew she always desired those of power, she was a lot like Lane that way. She knew she liked Oliver and Clark long before she knew who they really were. He always desired those with a wild side. He was a lot like his suppressed Kryptonian half that way. He would never admit it, but farm boy Clark Kent was attracted to bad girls. Alicia, Simone…Isobel. That's one reason he loved Lois so much. She was the best of both worlds. But he understood why the redhead stuck in his mind.

Now when they met, they tried not to look each other in the eyes. Even though they didn't discuss it, they now the potential they had together. She had just enough bad in her to pull him off of his 'righteous' path. And if that were to happen, he would have enough power to draw her from her 'path of redemption'. So they didn't talk about it. Not with each other. Not with anybody else. She didn't tell Oliver. He didn't tell Lois. They went on to live their normal lives, neither realizing that the other had the same thoughts that they themselves did. They didn't know because they didn't talk about it. And though they didn't talk about it, they remembered. They remembered so much, it became the biggest what-if of their lives.
