PLAN 27

For the moment, Leo was really questioning reality. Would some deity somewhere please explain why he constantly found himself facing these kind of situations!

"It's your choice Leonardo," the Shredder spoke fiercely as he held his two bladed gauntlet against Mikey's throat, "You may rush forward and save him, but if you do…"

He didn't need to finish that sentence, the leader's eyes darted to the left, towards the far edge of the rooftop where Raph was bound with rope and perched precariously on the edge, a Foot soldier was by his side and ready to shove him off of the skyscraper they were on.

"Ok," Leo thought drawlingly, "This patrol path is being thrown out!"

"Leo, do something!" a voice behind him yelled.

The blue clad turtle didn't look back. Ok, he had to analyze and ignore Shredder's threats. The metal clad maniac wouldn't make a move just yet. He could rush forward and stop the Shredder from cutting Mikey's throat, but of course, that meant that Raph would go plummeting over the edge and become nothing but a splattered puddle on the pavement 40 stories below. He could try to run towards Raph, but that would cause the Shredder to slice right through the youngest turtle's neck. Don was behind him, not surrounded by any particular dangers, but injured, he had already learned that.

"Choose Leonardo!" Shredder yelled, finally losing his patience and pulling back to finish off the youngest turtle in his grasp.

The eldest darted forward, his swords striking out to catch the bladed gauntlet before throwing all of his weight forward.

"Help Don," he shouted to Mikey before both he and the Shredder went plummeting over the edge.

"LEO!"

The blue clad turtle shoved away from the Shredder, catching the sight of his red banded brother, falling not too far from them. He thanked whatever part of his brain convinced him to bring a grappling hook and tossed it out to catch on one the windowsills before he swung across the side of the building, just managing to catch the flailing form.

"You just had to know the ending score to that Hockey Game huh?" Leo said, to which he received a muffled reply, since Raph was gagged as well.

Leo shook his head ruefully before climbing up the rope, amazingly with only one hand, because you know he was Leo and could do stuff like that with no problem, and rejoining his other brothers on the rooftop. The one Foot soldier that had been there now laid unconscious, a grinning in victory Mikey standing over him. With their feet on something solid, Leo turned and sliced through the ropes that had been used to bind Raphael. The red masked turtle himself threw off the gag.

"What was that, plan G?"

"No," Leo said with a shake of his head, "That was plan 27, the alphabet's limited to only 26 letters, so it really doesn't help in naming my plans."

Raph rolled his eyes, "Freak."

Weird. Random. One-shot.
