Chapter 5

What Is This Feeling?

"Phew… God! I'm beat!" The dog-lover said as he sank down into the couch. Shino and Sai sat that there usual spot opposite to Kiba and Akamaru and begun to write there report of their patrol around campus before their first period starts. "I'm mean, it's been a month since we've got into this school and I'm like still not use to this place yet. And come on! It's like this school is bigger than the freaking city!"

"…Kiba-kun, will you please stop whining and please start making your report for the day. I need to sort things out before first period starts and I don't want to be late… again." Neji pointed out as he was busy double checking some paperwork he had left unfinished yesterday. "If you still have the energy to complain then I suggest you use it in making you report now."

"Tch, easy for you to say, Mr. Vice President…" Kiba growled at Neji who just simply shrugged it off. "It's not like you and the President over there are doing any of the patrols here. Heck, you two are lucky to be stuck in this well-furnished and fully conditioned room while I, Shino and Sai are out there busily keeping the peace in this ridiculously huge school!"

"Don't blame me. It's not like it was our fault that the President of the Student Council felt that it is better suited if I and Sasuke have the authority over all of you." Neji sighed as reminded them again. "And I believe that Naruto-kun has so bluntly stated out why you were so incompetent for the position, hmm… Kiba-kun?"

"Tch, don't remind me…" the dog-lover mumbled and started to write down his own report while the rest only snickered as they remembered that day.

"Good morning, everyone!" the blond president welcomed all five of his guest as they entered the room. "Did you guys sleep well? Was the rooms to your liking?"

"Good morning." Neji greeted the blond, "And yes, we did. Thank you."

"Mornin' pres…" Kiba greeted with a salute, "the rooms were cool but you did Uchiha over there gets to have a room all to himself?"

"Hn." Sasuke snorted then nodded his greeting.

"Because…" the blond began, "there were only three available rooms left so and it is protocol that in every room there must have at least two occupants in it. And because there were five of you one of you must occupy a room alone. And you can't live outside campus that's the deal remember." The blond said smiling. "Now let's give you guys your assigned positions now before–"

There was a knock on the door and in came the other members of the student council.

"Ah, good morning everyone!" Ino was the first to greet them as she ran pass the others and clung herself on the youngest Uchiha's shoulder. "Good morning Sasuke-kun!"

"Ino-pig! Stop clinging on Sasuke-kun!" Sakura cried out then clung to the other side of the raven. "Sorry, Sasuke-kun and everyone else good morning."

"Hey! Big-forehead!" the blond haired girl hissed at the pinkette. "Let go of my Sasuke-kun!"

"Your Sasuke-kun?" the pinkette growled back at the blond. "How is he your Sasuke-kun? He doesn't even like you, Ino-pig!"

While the two girls continue to bicker about the raven only remained apathetic about the whole thing.

"Tch, troublesome…" Shikamaru murmured as he was entering the room trying to ignore the rest of the people in the room and finding a spot to drift off once again.

"G-good morning, everyone." Hinata bowed her head to everyone and smile sweetly. "U-um, did you have a good nights rest?"

"We sure did!" Kiba said gleefully as he approached the timid girl and clasp both her hands with his. "Thank you for–" before the dog-boy could continue suddenly came out of nowhere there was a katana blade at his throat.

"Try touching her again…" Neji whispered his family's most prided Byakugan eyes were now activated and locked on to its prey. "And I swear I will kill you, Kiba."

"Waah! Ok! Ok! I swear I won't touch her again!" Kiba said panicking for his life to be spared.

"Ne-Neji-san, p-please stop that…" the Hyuuga girl tried to clam down her enraged cousin.

"Now now guys… let's not be hasty…" the blond tried to clam everyone in the room when a suddenly the room was entered by a sudden green tornado.

"GOOD MORNING! MY YOUTHFUL BRETHREN!" Lee youthfully greeted them. "AH… IT GIVES MY HEART WARMTH TO SEE SUCH ENTHUSIASM SO EARLY IN THE MORNING! COME… LET US RUN TO THE RISING OF THE SUN AND SPREAD OUR YOUTHFULNESS TO THE OTHER STUDENTS!" And with that said he then sped up outside to the rising of the sun and spread his youthfulness to the unfortunate students he came across.

Everyone in the room sighed at their senpai's "youthfulness" then went to do their daily activities in the council room before the first bell rings.

Naruto on the other hand was pleased by his senpai's "youthful" entrance that stopped the ruckus in the room. "Well, now that things are settled… let's get down to business shall we. Uchiha Sasuke, will be the head komuco of the Disciplinary Committee with Hyuuga Neji as his second while the rest of you would be… hm, how would you guys like to be addressed? …Underlings? …Minions? …Cronies? And I will expect a report to be submitted to me every–"

"Wait just a dog-gone second!" Kiba protested. "How come mister and misses almighty over there gets to be the persons of power whereas the three of us become their followers? Isn't that unjustified?"

"Well, to put it bluntly…" the blond said as he skimmed through the personal files of the five 'troubled' teens. "It because both Uchiha and Hyuuga have outstanding leadership skills and also tactical training skills and because both of them are 'geniuses' that why they fit the part. Also they have an aura that emits 'death and torment' if you ever pissed them off. And as for you guys although you have also some outstanding qualities it's not enough. And well, you guys seem to be the more submissive and follower type so…"

"What the hell?" Kiba fumed. "It's because of that that's why we were given such lame ass positions!"

"Well, dog-breath if you really want me to be blunt then I'll tell you. Because your number one, you don't look like leadership material. Number two, you seem to be a guy who would likely to act before he thinks. Number three, your too naïve. Number four, you like a kind of person who would get fucked on the ass just by standing there. Number five, you smell like dog shit. Do you understand or do you need a complete blow-by-blow account on how unfit you are?"

Everyone in the room giggled as they had heard what their dear president said while Kiba was silent and his face was flushed red with embarrassment.

The blond then cleared his throat. "As for Shino and Sai well, their too weird and introverted so there's no way in hell that I would even think twice of appointing any of them. Now, anymore objections?" the blond waited for the five boys reply.

All of them shook their heads indication they had no objections to the blondes decision.

"Good. Then…" the blond motioned for Sakura to hand him over a file. "Here are your duties and assignments to be performed. And here are the school rules and regulations… I expect you guys to have memorized them by heart. Your office key and the keys to your patrol car… well, you don't expect us to let you guys patrol around campus on foot now do you? So here ya go." the blond giggled then handed the files and keys over to them. "Good, so if there are no more questions then I guess you guys should go on to your 'headquarters' before going to class before first period starts. The girls will take you guys there and don't worry most of your classes are with us so you don't have to worry if you happened to get lost, well, except for Neji-senpai cause his already a junior but Lee-senpai and Tenten-senpai who happens to be the third year representative will help guide you, Neji-senpai."

"Thank you, Naruto-kun." Neji thanked the blond.

"Heh, your welcome. Since every things set I believe there nothing more that we need to discuss further I think you guys should start heading to your classes now? And everyone else should also finish up and head to class before the first bell rings." The blond pointed out to all of the people in the room to hurry up and go before their all late. As everyone in the room scurried out of the room the blond suddenly remembered something then shouted out to the five boys before headed out of the door. "Sorry but I forgot to give you guys something important."

The blond then opened the cabinet of his desk table then took out a small box. He opened the lid and took out five armbands and then walked up to the five boys frozen in place. "Here," the blond said as he handed them each a black with red armband while Sasuke had a red with black armband. The blond then pointed at the armband he had on his right upper arm. "It's the easiest way to let the other students as well as teachers know who you guys are. Teme, you put it on your right upper arm like mine while the rest should put it on your left upper arm."

"Argh! I swear that President has some screws loose somewhere in that overly gelled head of his." Kiba grunted while he was struggling to write his report. "I mean who that hell uses that much hair gel and what's with the whisker-like markings on his face does he think that it was cute or something!"

"Aren't referring to yourself, Kiba-kun?" Sai said as he was handing his report to Neji.

"I do not!" Kiba argued.

"Yes you do Kiba." Shino entered in the conversation. "You always hog the mirror in the bathroom because you were 'styling' your hair differently and just end up with the same spiked-up look and after that you would put make-up on your face."

"How many times must I tell you this…" the dog-love pointed on the upside-down triangle on both his cheeks. "Is face paint not make-up!"

"Isn't that the same thing?" Sai said reading himself to go to first period.

"No its not!" Kiba protested.

"If you say so…" Sai sighed not wanting to argue further with the dog-lover because the last thing they did that... well, let's just say it involved a very pissed Uchiha and the color red… it was not pretty.

The room was finally peaceful again before the three boys entered the room and Kiba had to open his big mouth yet again to complain about everything. The raven haired sighed and was calming himself down. Fortunately for Sai and unfortunately for him, the other raven knows when the Uchiha is at his limit and it really annoyed him to the core on how well the other raven knows it. He clearly needs to up his guard when around Sai.

He rubbed the tension building up on his temple was it always going to be like this from now on? He shuns to thinks about it any further because he had so many problems to deal with by now to think about meaningless circumstances. He had much more important things to think about like how he would finally get to kill his brother and the blond. Yes, the blond. The very blond that had confused him since the very first time he saw him. The very blond that made his heart beat faster and faster whenever he sees even a strand of his hair. The very blond that won't let him sleep at night because he was constantly thinking of him… how his smile would melt the iciest part of his heart. How he would always drown whenever he would look into his deep eyes of endless blue. How soft and delicious and perfect his lips were when he kissed him under the cherry blossom tree. Everything about the blond was enchanting and perfect and he hated them all. Yes he so… loath every thing about the blond. He hated every thing he felt towards the blond.

He was confused. What was this feeling he felt whenever he sees or hear about the blond. Whenever he sees Naruto he felt as if his heart is about to burst or whenever he hears his voice or someone would even mention Naruto's name he would feel flustered and weak. He didn't like it. He clearly didn't like it. What was this feeling? Why is he feeling this way? Why? When would this feeling end? What would he have to do to end these mysterious feelings he has for the blond? How could he get rid of it? How?

The raven was so deep in thought he didn't noticed Neji came in his office to hand in the others report.

Neji on the other hand noticed it. Usually the brunette would leave the other boy alone just let the raven teen dwell in his thoughts but this was different and he had no choice but to interrupt him because he can't go to class. "Ehem…" the brunette scoffed. "Sorry to interrupt you, Sasuke-kun. But I would like to have your approval on these before proceeding to my class." The Hyuuga heir said as he pointed to the paperwork he placed on the ravens table in front of him.

The raven immediately snapped away from his thoughts then skimmed through the report papers then stamped on it.

The brunette sighed then nodded his thanks when the raven had finished stamping the last of the report. "Although, I don't really care on what's going on in that mind of yours, Sasuke-kun, but a piece of advice… don't think about it too much." The older teen said and with that he stepped out of the room before the raven could deny anything.

The raven was silent for a moment as he stared at the closed door where the brunette stepped out earlier. He then visibly sighed then turned his chair to face the window behind him. Great not only did he have to watch out for Sai but Neji too? He was beginning to lose it. He sighed again then stood up from his chair, picked up his school back and out of his door. It was hard to admit it to himself but Neji was right… he was thinking about it too much. He brushed the thoughts aside for now and stepped out of his room only to be greeted the four boys waiting patiently for their leader to come out of his lair and for them to head to first period.

14th's CORNER

Hey everyone! I'm back! I really missed you all! God! The exams really fried out nearly all of my brain cells and as a result I feel that his chapter wasn't as good as I thought it would be. So just give me some time to get a little bit of RnR and I will promise you the rest of the chapters will be good.

Fun Facts

After I've officially declared myself as brain damage from my last exam I immediately started on this chapter. Sorry if you had a hard time in understanding it. It's just that I'm still recovering for the lost of my dead brain cells.
