Three days later, Yugi was released and well-rested. He had refused to lie in bed and watch TV during his hospital stay. The doctors had given him the go ahead to use the physical therapy room to alleviate some of his restlessness.

Brent was sentenced to fifty years in prison for selling stolen property, theft, kidnapping, drugging, and harming a minor. The black-market dealer had long been wanted for several reasons and had a bounty on his head. He was sentenced to two life terms. Zoë's deal was accepted by the courts and she was never to contact Yugi through letters without permission from Solomon or the teen's personal lawyer. It was later discovered that he was the ringleader in Yugi's initial attack that lead to his first coma and he, along with those of his little gang, were sentenced to forty years for the attack.

The group of friends were rewarded for aiding in the capture of a wanted criminal and had used the money for furthering their educations, a new car to share among themselves, and to celebrate Yugi's recovery and return home.

Yugi: We hope everyone enjoyed 'Broken'.
