I told myself the first one-shot I would post had to be Fairy Tail. And the pairing of that one-shot HAD to be Gray x Juvia. They're my favorite Fairy Tail couple, for sure. Hope you enjoy it~

It was nightfall upon the city of Magnolia. The streetlights flickered, the river that ran through babbling soft lullabies of sleep, a soft breeze blowing. The town was quiet, but the most powerful guild that resided in the drowsy city was wide awake, a party still going strong behind the building of Fairy Tail.

Every mage in the guild had attended the Hanami Party. They were drinking, laughing, and enjoying themselves before another day of jobs came to them.

The mages crowded around the giant cherry blossom tree, glowing magnificent colors from the rainbow, vivid orange and ravishing red, the petals swaying in the night air.

Juvia Loxar stood in the back; her arms folded as her sea colored eyes switched its gaze from the beautiful tree to the back of Gray Fullbuster's head. His inky black hair just looked silky under the light of the sakura. He turned around, Juvia's heart almost stopping completely. Her face quickly flushed red, looking down at her feet.

Gray-sama looked at me… She squealed in her head, looking back up to see the shirtless ice mage walking towards her. Juvia marveled at Gray's chiseled features as he approached her, the curve of his abs, and the shine of his biceps.

"Enjoying Hanami?" Gray asked, breaking her train of thought. He was a lot closer than she thought.

The blunette smiled softly, hugging herself tightly. "Yes, Juvia is. The sakura is very pretty. ~" She said.

"I know something that's even prettier." Gray said, smirking at Juvia. Juvia looked up at him, his lidded onyx eyes looking back to her.

"What is it, Gray-sama?" She asked.

"Well…" He began, "I'll give you a hint." He walked slowly to her right, circling her.

"It's a girl…She's a part of Fairy Tail…" Gray was now behind her, his strong arms wrapping around her middle as her head fit neatly into his neck.

"And she outshines every color on that tree."

Juvia took a few shaky breaths—Gray was holding her. His bare muscular chest was pressed against her back, the two gazing at the sakura for a few moments.

"J-Juvia doesn't know who you're talking about." She replied quickly.

Gray chuckled softly. "I'm talking about you." He cooed in her ear. His chilling breath made her shiver, causing him to hug her tighter.

"…B-But Juvia's blue. Blue is a sad color. Blue isn't pretty." She started to like the feel of his body, the warmth of his ice cold skin, the safety of the muscles.

"You're not just blue. You're every color."

"…What do you mean, Gray-sama? Juvia's confused."

"Well, you may be blue on the outside. But you're filled with kindness, which is orange, and happiness, like yellow, and… red, for love." He smiled, "You're a rainbow—and rainbows are beautiful, right?" He kissed her temple gently.

Juvia smiled, placing her hands on top of Gray's that were still comfortably wrapped around her.

"Yeah," She said quietly, "I guess they are."
