Unblessed Love

Epilogue

And so we dance

"Right there" Damon pointed to a clearing in the woods. "That's where I found you. What did you want to see it?

Bonnie approached carefully without touching the flowers, her heart speeding up a bit.

"Sometimes there is a moment when your life change forever. Sometimes there is a place. I needed to see mine."

"So you wanna built a temple here to start weird witchy bloody rituals like dancing under the moon naked while blowing some incautious excursionists' minds or something? Because I'm all for the naked part."

He looked at her playfully. Bonnie smiled at him.

"I just…I don't know. Everything feels different now."

"Of course." Damon started kissing her neck gently. "You are now hooking up with the hottest vampire in town."

She rolled her ayes at him while trying to move away.

"I'm being serious here." He let her sweet skin go groaning in frustration. "This is all new for me. It's not just you. After everything that happened and the things I felt…It's like I have to know my real self now…like I'm actually still waking up from a dream."

Damon looked at her a bit worried for a moment.

"Are you feeling bad about it?"

"No. It actually feels good, but it's kind of frightening."

He grabbed her waist softly, pressing her body against his.

"I know, I know, but listen to me Bonnie" he lowered his voice a little, "you don't have to know all the answers now."

"But…"

He pressed her fingers against her lips.

"What if we start with something easy, huh?" Bonnie nodded. "Are you hungry?"

She looked at him while he released her mouth, frowning in confusion.

"What?"

"Are you?"

She thought about it for a second.

"Well, yeah. I am, actually."

Damon smiled shined.

"Good. I'm thinking of pancakes, what about you?"

Her noise scrunched automatically.

"I hate pancakes."

"Oh, come on. Who hates pancakes?

"I hate them."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure."

"Are you really sure that Bonnie Bennet hates pancakes?"

"Positive."

Damon put his hands down and shrugged.

"Well, that's your fist answer. It's a wrong one, but there you go."

Bonnie started to laugh. She grabbed his jacket to make his lips lean toward hers, and then she kissed him deeply.

"So where are we going then?"

Damon smiled widely at her while placing his arm over her shoulders as they walked their way through the car.

"Let's just ride."
