Disclaimer: Both the twilight Saga, and the Percy Jackson and Olympian Series are not mine, and will never be mine, unfortunately. I do however own this certain story, and a few of the OC's and Names that I will be giving the characters.
Last Time on a Goddesses Tale:
'Hermes and Apollo should be quite proud of these two. I wonder if their is a way to bring them up here without it causing to much suspicion...?'
Chp 9
Ariella smiled at the two eternal teens in front of her. These two had always been her favorite demi-gods. They treated her with the respect that was befitting of her social standing, but acted as if she was one of them, one of the teenagers, something she was never able to truly act like, seeing as how when she was growing up, her father and mother never really let her explore and be who she was. Thanks to these two mortals, she was able to find out what earth was like, why normal mortals act the way they do, and reminded her of why she liked the humans that she had previously met. She was glad they had called, for she had some news she wished to impart to them. The nervous looks she was getting when she answered the Iris Message made her think that this was not just a casual meeting.
"Nephews. It is great to hear from you again, but I know that you would not have messaged me unless it was important. What has happened that has caused you to call?" Her voice was calm and steady as she spoke, even though hints of worry could be heard every once in a while. The two in front of her smiled at her worry but quickly schooled their features.
"Step-mother, we have news that may upset you. The two idiots have become more than a little angry at you and your family. They do not know who you are, but I fear they will find out soon. We have been trying to get them to forget, but they are dead set on finding you." The blond eternal teen replied, causing the goddesses eyebrow to raise.
"And why, dear step-son of mine, do you think they will figure out who I am? Even if they did, how do you know they will believe what they have learned?" Confusion was etched on the white haired beings face. Most mortals when faced with their existence typically scoffed at the thought, while others simply couldn't handle the idea and completely wiped it from their brains. The mist was a very good thing when it came to keeping these events from happening as it masked their presence quite well.
It was at this that her nephew spoke up looking sheepish. "The other day, my Father came down and told me about what had transpired that led up to your sudden departure from the school. He let me know that I could impart this knowledge on Jasper, seeing as how we both knew who you were while you were down here. Typically, when we need to talk about secret matters, we wait until all of the others are out of the house. Instead of waiting like I know I should have, I told him anyways, without checking for Edward or Alice. The two of them ended up hearing all of what I had said. Normally, I wouldn't much worry about this, but they have begone to sneak around and do unusual practices that we have never seen before. We fear they may have started to look into you and your families existence, and if they figure out who you are, we do not know what they shall do. All of us know you can take care of yourselves, but we still worry about what may transpire if this were to happen."
The goddess lowered her head slightly in thought. "That is troubling. Keep an eye on them as much as you can. Do not let them know you are looking into their activities. If anything goes wrong, get out. Your fathers and I have already told you that you have a permanent home in Camp Half-Blood, or even with us on Olympus. You have both done more than we could have ever asked for you to do."
"Thank you Step-Mother. We will leave if we think we are put into too much trouble, but as you said, we are trained heroes, and as such can hopefully handle a few vampires." He smirked slightly, giving the goddess and grateful look.
"I have complete faith in you both. You may be able to handle yourself, but as some of the only demi-gods I actually care about, I believe it is within my rights to care about your well-being." She smirked at them, "Either way, I do have some news for the both of you. I was actually planning on messaging you later on today, but since you called me first, I might as well let you know now. I have convinced the Olympians to allow your fathers to come down for a time and spend time with you. Besides, you haven't been sparring in quite a while, and Apollo said something about wanting to test one of his favorite children..." She trailed off smiling at the looks of joy and apprehension that appeared on their faces.
"You might want to get practicing and warming up, since they should be there in about two hours." The two quickly shut the water off and began to prepare for their godly parents to arrive.
AN: I haven't written anything in so long. I know that this chapter is not that great, but I thought I should at least try and give another chapter. My schooling is almost over until I start college in the fall, and as such, I thought that my stories deserved to be updated.
