Hey everybody!

Ok, so this is my first "poetry" thing on fanfiction. Technically, it's not poetry-It's actually a song. See, when I was reading up on Tangled one day, I found out there was a song called "You are my Forever" that was created for the movie, originally written to be sung to Rapunzel by Gothel in a motherly way, and then they changed it to be sung by Flynn/Eugene in a romantic way towards Rapunzel. Now, the song was split into two and changed to "Mother Knows Best" and "I See the Light", and while I love both of those songs (Heck, I love all the songs in Tangled) I was always curious as to what "You are my Forever" might have been like.

So, uh...I sort of wrote it myself. Ha. This is the one where Flynn/Eugene sings to Rapunzel. Now, I know it might sound kind of out of character, coming from him, but if you really think about it, "Now she's here, shining in the starlight" doesn't exactly sound like something he'd say normally either. But they made it work. If you have to, just ignore the fact that it was supposed to sound Flynn-ish...Cause I'm aware it doesn't. :-)

But anyway, yeah...I hope it doesn't sound off-I wish that you could hear the rhythm in some way, but that's sort of not possible...Just think of it as a semi-slow, romantic tune.

Oh, yeah. And you might see some weird dots on the side of your screen (I said MIGHT...Don't freak out) there's no problem. I had to put periods on the side so it would space the verses out appropriately because the document uploader's being dumb. Okey dokey.

I should write a song called "I Don't Own Tangled". I BET THAT WOULD TOP THE CHARTS!
