A Team 7 one-shot

Summary- Naruto complains about team 7's first mission and Sakura consoles him, but is there more to what she says?

A.N.- Just a random idea, and an old one at that. Yay rabbit trails! Anyway, enjoy.

"But why does our fist mission have to be so long?" Naruto whined as he and the rest of Team 7 stepped through the gates of Konoah.

"It's only three months Naruto, you'll be fine," Sakura tried to console the blonde but a happy smile was on her face. Naruto pouted and drug his feet. Sasuke just rolled his eyes at him, but Sakura laughed and hauled Naruto upright from his slumped position.

"It won't be that bad." She was grinning from ear to ear and seemed unbelievably excited. A light breeze tousled her hair and Sakura's eyes sparkled before she turned around and faced the trees.

"Besides Naruto." She cast a glance back over her shoulder at Naruto. "Half the fun is getting there." Sakura winked at him and vaulted into the trees leaving the boys behind her. They would eventually catch up.
