Just a cute little one-shot...just wanted to try it.

One-shot

She opened her door in the middle of the night, a blanket wrapped around her. She had a cold, and had barely made through her appointment with T.K without coughing into a tissue. T.K just laughed it off and left early, his session almost over with being late anyway. She barely had enough strength to make it back upstairs without wanting to just fall asleep on every chair she passed.

But now she stood there, cold, covered in a blanket in her pajamas with Nico at her door. "It's three in the morning." She couched, she didn't really know what time it was, she just guessed.

"It's really only eleven P.M." Nico stated, walking pass her into the house. He glanced around as she closed the door. She shuffled behind him, into the kitchen, he turned and followed her. "You didn't answer your phone. T.K said you were sick."

She gave a small laugh that turned into a cough. She braced herself on the counter as she coughed. She stood up straight, throwing away her tissue and got a new one. "Just a little cold."

"Just a little one?" Nice smirked which annoyed Dani. "Where's your kids?"

"Probably getting away with murder, I'm dead to the world like this." She opened the fridge and just stared into it. "I don't even know what I want." She sighed, closing the door. She turned around to face him and groaned. "Orange juice." She turned back around to stare at the fridge. "I don't even think we have orange juice."

She looked up to see Nico standing next to her, looking down at her. "Why don't you go back to bed, and I'll get you some orange juice and some medicine."

She sneezed, tightening her hold on her blanket. "You're going to take care of me?"

He smirked, leading her back upstairs to her room. "It's the least I can do." She sat on her bed, pulling her comforter up and laying back against her pillow. "I'll wake you up when I come back."

"You're a good friend." Dani mumbled into her pillow.

"I know, when you're being chased by mobsters, bookies and aliens." Nice gave a small smile, even though he knew she didn't see it.

She glanced up at him, his smile already gone. "No, you're just a really good friend." She smiled and fell back to sleep.
