Because I kept getting a follow or review once every while, I couldn't abandon this story. I hope my writing style is still somewhat the same and I am scared to disappoint you, but I did it anyways. So here you go, lovelies.

"This can't be happening." Lucy muttered flabbergasted.

Natsu had furiously begun shaking the man to and fro. "Stop joking, old man! Give us back our friends!" he shrieked.

"TAAAaaaa- DAAAaaaa- TAAAaaaa-" the man cried every time he was pulled in another direction.

When Natsu stopped he pulled the man close to his face. "Unfreeze them!" he demanded.

The eyes of the older man were spinning and with a final "Tadaaa..." he lost consciousness.

"Old man? Oi!" Natsu asked.

Lucy's head whipped up when she heard the tone Natsu used. It was a tone she knew all too well; the 'I-just-messed-something-up' pitch of his voice would at least appear once every mission.

When she saw the unconscious elderly she zoned in on Natsu with an thunderous air around her.

"What did you do, you idiot?!" she yelled, grabbing Natsu by his shoulder to get a better look at the old man. In the process however, she had gotten close to her fire-breathing teammate.

It all took a turn of the worse when Natsu turned around his head to give a fiery retort.

For a moment they both were silent and stared into eachothers eyes, both replaying the words of the old man in their heads.

"You just have to be lovey-dovey … lovey-dovey … lovey-dovey"

Simultaneously, a flush crept on their faces.

Lucy quickly let go of her friend and backed away. Natsu was a bit slower in the uptake and stared at her with his mouth wide open.

"L-look what you did, i-idiot." Lucy stammered, crossing her arms and turning away from him. With the breaking of the eye-contact Natsu finally snapped out of it.

"H-h-haha, yeah, s-stupid me!" he tried to laugh but it came out incredibly forced. With Lucy's back now towards him, he began to furiously brainstorm about what just happened. Looking at the ground, he replayed the scene in his head but he came up blank.

In the end, he shrugged it off and looked back at the celestial-mage.

"Lucy, the geezer won't unfreeze them." he concluded.

Lucy shot a quick glance at the fire-mage and groaned at the image she was met with. The old man was still unconscious, and with the movements Natsu had made he was now half in Natsu's arms and half sprawled on the ground.

"Well, not when you knocked him unconscious." she sighed and she looked at the sky almost if asking for help. "Okay Natsu, lie him on the ground, okay? Carefully!" she warned him and Natsu did as he was told.

They stood around the elder on the ground and regarded him for a second.

"Sooooo, what now?" Natsu asked sheepishly.

"How should I know?!" Lucy cried frustrated.

"You shouldn't have knocked him unconscious, Luce." Natsu chided her with a irritated 'tsk.'

"You knocked him unconscious, you moron!" she yelled with balling her fists. Natsu backed away, anticipating another hit, when a voice piped up.

"That's not really lovey-dovey."

Lucy and Natsu stopped their argument and looked down questioningly. The man stared up with them and blinked a couple of times, before smiling. "You look absolutely ridiculous, tada, tada, tada." he laughed.

"YOU ARE CONSCIOUS?" Lucy and Natsu screamed at the same time.

"Of course I am, tada, tada." the old man almost giggled while sitting up. Before the two could say anything else, he turned somewhat serious. "Now listen, if you aren't lovey-dovey in a week, your friend will be frozen for eternity."

Lucy's hand shot up to cover her mouth in shock and Natsu gulped nervously. Their eyes became even bigger in shock when the man began disappearing.

"Oi, geezer, where are you going?!" Natsu yelped.

"I will be going now, don't worry about me." the old man croaked out with a smile. His legs were already gone and the two teammates looked on in horror.

Just before he completely disappeared, the old man said a last thing. "... A real pity you didn't want to hear about the dog."

"WHO CARES ABOUT THE DOG!" Lucy yelled and with that, the man was gone, with his last tada-tada's ringing in the air.

Natsu and Lucy stared at the spot he just had occupied, then at each other.

"Well, " Natsu began, "at least we won't have to listen to his laugh anymore."

Lucy hit him for good measure.
