Disclaimer: No. 6 does not belong to me~

That night, the small, shabby abode that Nezumi and Sion lived in together was almost completely silent. The only sound that could be heard was the pouring rain of the typhoon outside softly beating against the old roof. The room was pitch black aside from the occasional flashes of lighting seeping through the cracked blinds that were heavily shielded by stacks among stacks of books.

Sion was fast asleep without a care in the world while his raven haired companion laid silently awake next to him on their shared queen sized bed. On rainy nights like this, Nezumi didn't even have a chance for sleep. His mind would always wander back to the night when he had first stumbled upon Sion, and ever since the day he had reunited with his white haired friend, his condition had worsened.

Before, he would simply suffer sleepless nights during typhoons. But now he allowed himself to listen to Sion's calm breathing as he slept; Just like that night four years ago...

Nezumi shook his head of those thoughts and sat up. During a short flash of lighting he stole a glance towards the smaller male. The rat smiled to himself as he thought about how stupid Sion looked as he slept. He was curled into a ball sleeping soundly and blissfully unaware of the storm raging outside. In fact, he almost looked like a kitten curled up in a warm afternoon nap.

The conscious silhouette chuckled at the irony. He, the mouse, was almost stalking Sion, the cat, as his prey.

"Like the age old 'Cat and Mouse' game only reversed." he whispered with a chuckle. The smaller male twitched at the slight noise causing Nezumi to freeze. Once settled, Sion's breathing returned to it's gentle rhythm.

Tch. How stupid, Nezumi thought to himself once again. He watched his roomie for a little while longer until he could barely control himself. He bent down and loomed over Sion before rather harshly biting his nose.

If I were the cat, you'd be dead.

The sudden sharp pain jolted Sion awake and he sat up, almost headbutting Nezumi in the process. "What was that?" he yelped.

The sound of the boy's voice irritated and comforted Nezumi at the same time. He inwardly smiled and furrowed his brow. "The roof is leaking, trade spots with me."

"No! I don't want to catch a cold."

Nezumi straddled Sion and tried to roll him over. Sion struggled to break loose and then attempted to roll Nezumi onto his back. After a few minutes of harmless wrestling, the two boys ended up a tangled mess of arms and legs. They innocently laughed and laughed and before they knew it they had fallen asleep in each others embrace.

For the first time in four years, Nezumi slept soundly through the night of a typhoon.

A/N: No. 6 is just amazing. c: I only discovered it about a week ago and I've already caught up with the anime, manga, and novels. And it even struck me with enough inspiration to write my first fic in months! It must be wizardry~
