Raoh's Trial

In the Dark Kingdom the new queen reveled in her new found freedom. Having been stuck in a state of formlessness for millennia the ability to move and experience the physical world was exhilarating.

Even so she still had not regained the entirety of her powers. For that she needed the Imperium Crystal and she needed it soon. Once that mighty power was within her grasp then the entire galaxy, nay the entire universe, would bow down to her power!

Queen Metallia then opened a portal which took her to a special, hidden room within the Dark Kingdom. This room was only known to herself and Queen Beryl. It was here that the source of her coming victory lay at hand.

The room was dark with only a pale, violet hue illuminating it. From here Queen Metallia continued onward until she reached the source of her destination. Here, incased in five purple crystals and bound in chains, were the former guardians of the Moon Kingdom.

Queen Metallia could only chuckle as she slid her hand across the crystal which contained Sailor Moon, the alter ego of the previous Princess Serenity. How unfortunate that despite the efforts of the girl's mother her child and her guardians were now eternal slaves of the Dark Kingdom. The source of their powers, which came from the planets they served, was raw and everlasting.

It was through their power that the Dark Kingdom continued to function despite the lack of human energy that had been collected. In fact that entire operation had not been entirely necessary but Queen Metallia had insisted that the mission still be done anyway so as to hasten their objectives.

Unfortunately it had turned out to be a waste of time. Jadeite had ended up losing his life on those missions to collect energy. While Queen Metallia did not have the highest opinion toward Prince Endymion or his generals it could not be denied that they were skilled. She could have used Jadeite and, with her powers, could have augmented his abilities even further just like she had done with his comrades.

However that was moot at this point. Metallia was now free even though it had cost Queen Beryl her life. A harsh price to pay but one that had to be done.

Tracing her finger down the crystal which bore the imprisoned Sailor Moon the queen could not help but chuckle evilly.

"How does it feel to be powerless and yet aware of what is going on? To see the efforts of your mother go to waste. That you and everyone you love will now die due to your powerlessness? Not that you or your band of harlots could have done anything to stop me. Consider yourself fortunate that I have found a use for you. If I had wanted I could end your lives this very moment!"

With that the room started to shake violent as Queen Metallia exerted her power. Even within their suspended forms the senshi curled up and trembled in fear. It was through their helplessness and fear that Metallia fed on! That her greatest enemies were now at her mercy.

However there was one that refused to shake in fear.

Sailor Moon.

A great light seemed to erupt from the crystal that contained her and, with a great effort, she had managed to force her eyes open.

Metallia was angered by this show of defiance and immediately rose her power even further causing the room to shake even more. Dust and rubble were now beginning to fall to the ground.

"You are dispensable Sailor slut! If I want I can kill you right now! Now tremble before my might! Beg me for mercy and perhaps I shall give it."

It was then that a voice came from within the crystal itself.

Do you honestly believe that by having me captive that you are now immune to defeat? Foolish. It is this same arrogance that cost you your conquest of our kingdom.

Do what you will to us. If what you say is true then kill us and free us from our torment. However do not believe that you will have attained victory by virtue of our deaths.

Queen Metallia was taken aback. How was Sailor Moon able to not only become fully conscious but even talk to her despite being under her spell? It did not make any sense. Shaking her head fiercely she responded harshly.

"There is no one else!"

Boast all you want. Your defeat is imminent. There is still one that is capable of defeating you.

The Fist of the North Star.

The queen wasn't sure what to make of this statement but before she could respond Sailor Moon soon closed her eyes once more and fell back into a state of suspended animation.

Something about what she had said rattled Metallia more than she cared to admit.

I do not know why I feel a sense of dread when I hear that name.

All the more reason to keep pressing for the search for the Rainbow Crystals. Once I have collected all seven then the power of the Imperium Crystal will be at my disposal. By then I will be invincible.

Knowing now what needed to be done the queen soon teleported back into the throne room. She then summoned Prince Endymion and his two generals to her.

In an instant they teleported to the throne room bowing as they did so.

"What is it that our illustrious queen bids us to do?" asked Prince Endymion reverently.

"Rise to your feet. There is a matter of great importance that I must discuss with you." said the Queen.

The prince and his generals rose to their feet ready to take any orders at a moment's notice.

"General Malachite. How many Rainbow Crystals do we currently have at our disposal?" asked Metallia sternly.

"We have three my liege."

"As you all should know we need all seven in order for us to obtain the Imperium Crystal. This is your mission first and foremost. Now I have granted you power beyond your measure so that this task be completed. I do this at risk to my own person because it MUST be done. Zoicite was successfully able to obtain a Rainbow Crystal but nearly perished doing so despite his augmented powers. I do not like to say this but our enemy is formidable and we would be fools to take them lightly."

"We MUST obtain all seven crystals if our victory is to be complete. I will not suffer failure. Now come to me and tell me where we are to obtain the next Rainbow Crystal?"

With that Zoicite stepped forward with the Black Crystal and from there an image appeared in the throne room. There was the image of an old, short man who was currently cleaning what looked like a temple shrine. The next image showed a handsome looking young man tending to an arcade.

"So it seems that the Black Crystal is only willing to show us the next two targets. Just as well. The last thing I want is to split our forces too much and risk failure. Seeing as the old man looks to be the less threatening of the two I will have Zoicite go after him alone. As for the young man I will have both you, Prince Endymion and Malachite embark on this mission."

Prince Endymion raised his eyebrow when he heard this.

"Forgive me for speaking out of place my queen but why is it that you feel that you are to expend so much man power on these two helpless creatures? Surely Zoicite alone can complete this mission. The amount of resources you are putting into this operation is, frankly, unwise."

Queen Metallia stared over at Prince Endymion harshly before raising her hand and shooting a bolt of black electricity that surrounded the prince. At once he screamed in pain as the electricity held him tight preventing him from moving while still singing him.

"Perhaps you did not hear what I said Prince Endymion. Obtaining all seven Rainbow Crystals is of the utmost priority. I am INSURING that the mission doesn't fail. I would rather spend more resources now and reap a sure reward than be stingy and come out empty handed. Your job is to kneel at my feet and follow my orders. Do I make myself clear Prince?"

Prince Endymion could only blink his eyes rapidly in response before being set free from Metallia's attack. He started to cough loudly as Zoicite went to his side.

"Do any of you have any objections?"

Malachite was furious at Queen Metallia's harsh treatment of Prince Endymion but wisely confined his tongue and instead responded more favorably.

"Understood. We will carry out your wishes as planned."

"Very well. You are all dismissed. Embark on nightfall."

With that Prince Endymion and his generals teleported out of the throne room.

Raoh was initially furious when she had been yanked out of her dimension and her plans for conquering had been put on hold. However as time went along and she had met up with others who were of the same dimension as she was she realized that this could perhaps be a blessing in disguise.

While she wasn't as strong in this body as she was in her previous one Raoh really had no reservations about that. With her knowledge of Hokuto Shin Ken she could eventually push this body to reach comparable levels of strength to that of her old one.

The biggest difference was that she now wielded the power to produce lightning. In fact the discovery of this power had delighted her as she now knew that her path to the ascension of the gods was now that much nearer.

As such she spent as much time out of her day training outside town in the wilderness where she would hone her powers and perfect her Gou-ken. In due time she was sure that she would be able to outstrip her old body in power. The fact that she was a girl didn't really bother her. Power was what mattered most and in this body she saw the potential for endless power.

What really bothered her was the fact that she was an attractive young woman and as such was subject to the attentions and admirations of the young men around her.

As much as she wanted to spend the entirety of her days in the wilderness to train she still had to come back into town to eat and find shelter. Thankfully the girl had an apartment whose parents had paid for and this was a welcome luxury that Raoh wasn't going to turn down.

However that meant that she would need to live in town and one young man in particular had become smitten with her.

As she made her way past the arcade that evening so that she could get to her training she could see the young man closing up shop. The sun was already beginning to set and already most of the streets were sparse with hardly any people around. He turned to see the lovely brunette and smiled at the sight of her.

"Ah Makoto-san! So glad to see you this lovely evening." said Motoki cheerfully.

Unlike her other comrades Raoh did not really bother to put up an act. The only reason why she did not outright kill the young man for bothering her was that she did not want to bring unnecessary attention to herself, at least not yet. Once she was ready she would start on her plans for world conquest. By then she would revel in the attention brought to her as the name of Ken-Oh was spread far and wide in fear.

Unfortunately she had to bite down on her instinct to simply kill the young man and instead settled with a harsh reply.

"Too bad that I do not share the same sentiment toward you. Now please step aside. I do not have time to entertain your idiotic infatuation."

Motoki frowned when he heard this but soon brightened up as he continued to make small talk with the lovely brunette before him.

"As cranky as always. You keep that up and you're never going to get a boyfriend."

"A waste of time. My ambition is not something that can be hindered by romantic idiocies." replied Raoh harshly.

"Ambition huh? Honestly I think it's a breath of fresh air to hear a girl pursuing her dreams instead of raving constantly about having a boyfriend. To be honest I actually respect you for that."

It was then that Raoh felt an uncharacteristic heat reach her face at the compliment. Another aspect that Raoh disliked about being a girl. It was difficult to control her emotions at times and now she felt herself becoming prey to it. She started to walk away quickly so that she could focus on her training.

"You know Makoto-san it's not a sin to enjoy yourself every so often. Even someone as dedicated as you needs to take a break once in a while. Why don't you let me treat you at least to one date?"

Raoh had had enough as she turned and slammed Motoki hard against the wall. The pull over used to close the arcade shook violently from the impact.

"Perhaps I have not made myself clear. I am not interested in wasting my time with foolish notions such as love. I have watched countless people of worth fall because they allowed themselves to be seduced into this false hope of fulfillment. No. If you wish to pursue anything of worth then pursue power! Ask yourself. Are you truly content mucking about in mediocrity slaving away to a power greater than you and earning nothing more than the bare essentials to survive? Have you no respect for yourself that you would allow yourself to be at the mercy of someone other than yourself? Let me tell you something foolish boy! Love will not allow you to break the chains that bind you right now! Love is merely a form of escapism designed to keep you docile and tame!"

"You pursue love because it is the only way you can justify your pathetic existence! Foolish! Do you honestly believe that even if I were to consort with someone that I would do so with you, pathetic and weak as you are? No. The only thing that can truly break the chains that bind you is power! Power is the absolute truth and my ambition will not rest until I have that power! No one shall lord over me, nor will I bend my knee to another."

Motoki had a thoughtful expression on his face as the tears stung the end of his eyes. Raoh did not care that she had hurt the boy's feelings but had wanted to let him know just how pathetic he really was and that his pursuit of her was just a waste of time.

However through that somber expression a sad smile came to Motoki's face.

"It's funny. You seemed to hit every single insecurity I have had for the past two years. Truth be told I was going to college but soon dropped out as I could no longer afford it. So now I'm working full time here at the arcade, hoping, waiting for the day that my luck would finally turn and things would start going right for me."

"However every day I wake up feeling more hopeless than the day before. My wheels are spinning and I know that I'm not going anywhere. I barely make enough money for ends meet so the thought of even going back to school to pursue my education again is moot. There were times that I wondered if this was what my life was just going to be. Just some loser running an arcade for a faceless owner who can fire me at a moment's notice."

"I'm not going to lie Makoto-san. From the moment I saw you I had fallen in love. There was something about your character that endeared me to you. I know it's creepy that a twenty year old like me is crushing on a fourteen year old like you but it's the truth. Your words hurt me Makoto-san but at the same time I feel like they have opened my eyes. I-I no longer want to be this pathetic loser who is going nowhere! I'm better than this and now I see things clearly. For what it's worth I thank you so very much for telling me all this Makoto-san. I know that you may not feel the same way toward me as I do for you but at the very least you cared enough to take time out of your evening and stop pursuing your ambition to help me realize mine. Thank you….I really mean it."

Raoh did not know what to say.

The words that she had told Motoki were designed to break him, to reduce him to nothing. To remind him of how pathetic he was.

Yet it had the opposite effect as the boy genuinely looked touched at the words she had spoken. Had this been back in her own dimension she would have been willing to have him serve her as a lackey. Then at the least she could see if he was willing to prove his worth to her.

With that she let go of Motoki and started to walk away.

"Are you leaving already Makoto-san?"

"It's obvious enough worm."

"Well, whatever it is that your ambition is pursuing I wish you the best of luck!" smiled Motoki.

"As if I needed your blessing to realize my ambition." spat Raoh harshly.

It seemed that Motoki had blushed even more at the verbal abuse that was directed over to him. Raoh was beginning to think that the boy was perhaps a masochist. It seemed that the more she brought him down the more he was endeared to her.

With that Raoh started to leave once more but before she could get far she felt an intent to kill from above her. She jumped back just in time to avoid a deadly blast which blew up the ground where she had just stood.

Looking up she saw the levitating forms of both Malachite and Prince Endymion both of them grinning.

"Well we meet again." said Malachite.

Raoh suddenly remembered the white haired man flying above her and the battle they had before. At once her body glowed red in preparation for battle.

"Wishing to end your life? I will gladly oblige and give you the honor of breaking you with my fists." said Raoh harshly.

"Your arrogance knows no bounds. I'll be sure to humble you and make you realize your place." replied Malachite.

Motoki, in the meanwhile, was flabbergasted by what he was seeing. How was it that two me were floating in midair like they were? And why was Makoto talking to them as if she had no fear?

It was then that Motoki looked over at Prince Endymion and instantly recognized him.

M-Mamarou?

The prince looked over and beheld Motoki. There seemed to be a sense of familiarity when he looked over at the young man but shook it away as he descended and pointed his sword toward Motoki's chest.

"You there! Come back into the fold and join us once more!"

"M-Mamarou-san! Is that really you?"

For a moment Prince Endymion faltered as he heard the name he had used in a previous lifetime. He then looked over at Motoki as he spoke sternly.

"There was one time in which I had used that name. As I draw my memories from days past I can now recall your face and your name. It is sad that we were once close friends Motoki but now the time has come to sever that friendship. I come for one purpose only and that is the Rainbow Crystal hidden in your chest. Now come!"

With that Motoki screamed as a black hole was opened in his chest and from there emerged a ruby like crystal.

Raoh was seeing what was going on with quaint interest.

"Are you not going to try and save him?" asked Malachite.

"If he succumbs to your powers then he deserves to die. I will not trouble myself helping those who are unable to help themselves." replied Raoh.

"I see."

Meanwhile Prince Endymion was able to successfully remove the Rainbow Crystal from Motoki's chest. At once Motoki's body started to morph until he was transformed into a youma for the Dark Kingdom.

Unlike the other monsters Motoki's form was sleek and human like. He had no face and his body shimmered a smooth violet. On the back of his head ran down a long tassel of white hair while his chest and arms rippled with muscle. Holding his hand out the new youma summoned what looked like a pale flame.

Prince Endymion smiled at the sight. It looked like this particular youma was very powerful. With the Rainbow Crystal at hand the prince soon levitated up into the air and joined Malachite.

"It seems that our work is now finished. We can leave now and have our new youma take care of the young woman below us." said Prince Endymion.

Raoh scowled when he heard of his enemies' cowardly tactic. At once her body glowed a deep red as she punched a hole in the concrete ground below her causing an explosion of dust and debris.

Neither Malachite nor Prince Endymion were expecting this as they lifted their arms to cover themselves. It was then that Raoh jumped into the air towards Prince Endymion and that was when the Prince felt his body explode into pain.

Raoh smiled as she realized that her fighting aura was pummeling the poor prince which made it easy for her to grab hold of his arm and yank the Rainbow Crystal from his hand.

"I take it that these gems are important to you. Well now that I have it in my possession you have no choice but to face me in combat."

With that Raoh held Prince Endymion by the throat while feebly attempted to shield himself from Raoh's fighting aura.

"Weak and pathetic. You shall die first."

Raising her fist Raoh was to deliver the final blow until she felt a harsh blow on her face and was sent straight into the ground.

Prince Endymion was bloodied and bruised from his exposure to Raoh's fighting aura but was otherwise alright. However he was livid that he had lost the Rainbow Crystal and was now in the enemy's possession. Looking over he saw that it was the new youma that had saved him.

"Well done youma." said Prince Endymion through his breathless pants.

Meanwhile Malachite was able to regain his bearings and saw that his prince was harmed but not mortally wounded.

"My Prince! My apologies for not coming to you in time." said Malachite.

"There is no need for that Malachite. We are in the heat of battle and we all run the risk of getting injured. Any hurt that is brought to me will be of my own carelessness. Now come. If this bitch wants to do battle with us then we shall show her our might!" roared Prince Endymion as he raised his sword and threw a ball of dark energy toward the ground.

Raoh was barely able to get her bearings when she saw Prince Endymion's attack come at her full force. Summoning one hundred percent of her full power Raoh repelled the blast with her bare hands and sent it flying back toward the sky.

However she felt her hand sting from the impact as black lightning cackled through her arm.

Unfortunately for her she found that she was now being pelted by blasts of energy that were coming from the air.

Cowards. Not willing to come down and meet their deaths by my fists.

Well if they won't come to me then I shall go to them.

There was dust and debris everywhere but Raoh remained calm. She waited until there was a lull in their attacks and soon jumped to the air where she managed to find Malachite.

The general was not able to summon his barrier in time as Raoh struck forward and punctured his shoulder with three of her fingers digging her fingers into his flesh. They both fell to the ground where Malachite landed harshly on his back. He screamed as he felt the pain explode all over his body. Raoh then rose her other fist that now cackled with electricity as she sought to deal the final blow to the downed general.

Raoh then sensed someone coming from behind to attack and grabbed the white, flaming, fist of the youma who had once been Motoki.

"Interesting. Now that you have come into a bit of power you think you can fight me?"

The youma nodded slowly before finally speaking.

"I have heard you speak of your ambition in my dreams. Ever did the sight of you capture my heart but I was powerless to reach out to you, not when I was incased in soft flesh and yielding bones. I lay in the facets of the boy's subconscious and was angered by his inability to act. For that I have to thank you for drawing the attention of superiors so that I am finally free of that weakling. However now I wish to test your ambition. Show me the power that you so desperately want to attain!"

Raoh grinned when she heard this.

"Very well but in challenging me you run the real risk of my breaking your body!"

With that Raoh summoned forth a great surge of electricity that shocked the youma before her. However the youma did not seem too phased by the pain as he then disappeared out of sight in a blur of motion.

Malachite, still in horrible pain from having his shoulder impaled by the young woman's hand, was able to summon a ball of black energy as he then slammed it on the back of Raoh's head.

Despite being at one hundred percent of her power the blow had caused Raoh to black out for a split second. She could see stars as her head exploded into pain. Malachite took the time to put distance between him and the girl as he then summoned a barrier so that he could recuperate.

Malachite was then joined by Prince Endymion who was also just as bruised and bloody.

"What a fearsome adversary. I did not expect this much resistance." said Prince Endymion.

"Agreed. We underestimated her but now we know better. Thankfully we have the assistance of that youma otherwise we might not be alive. But enough is enough. How about we show her our true power and force her to her knees?"

Prince Endymion realized what it was that Malachite was alluding to and grinned evilly in return.

Raoh was barely able to get her bearings when she realized that the youma had come back. Glowing red she blocked an incoming punch from him and summoned her fighting aura. The youma responded by summoning a small force field that covered the front of his body. The sounds of Raoh's fighting aura could be heard smashing against the barrier.

"Impressive. Your fighting spirit alone is enough to harm those near you." said the youma.

"There is more to me than simply my fighting aura monster. Watch and I shall show you."

With that Raoh started to attack with renewed fury. The youma seemed to be able to match the brunette. Each lethal blow was parried or avoided and each feint was checked. Raoh's fighting aura was negated by the youma's barrier. For the first time in a long while Raoh honestly felt like she was enjoying herself.

In her dimension so many of her enemies were so weak and cowardly that they would not dare challenge her. It made fighting someone worthy of her a difficult prospect indeed. And now she was able to fight toe to toe with a supernatural monster and was relishing in the fact that she did not need to hold back.

Raoh aimed to strike the pressure point on the youma's temple but was blocked by the creature's arm. The youma then grabbed Raoh's arm as he then summoned a harsh white flame to burn the brunette. Raoh winced in pain a bit but fire was never something that Raoh feared.

Going through the pain Raoh aimed to strike another pressure point at the creature's chest. Sensing the lethal blow coming the youma lifted its other arm. Raoh ended up striking the youma in the deltoid but even this was still good. Raoh smiled as the youma realized that his arm had fallen limp.

"What did you do to my arm?" asked the youma.

"When you blocked my attack I insured to at least strike one of the pressure points on your shoulder. Unfortunately it doesn't bring you pain but it will render your arm useless for the rest of this fight. Which means you lose."

With that Raoh slammed her fist on the youma's face and sent him flying toward the arcade building where he crashed through it. The youma tried to get up but found that he could not as his body refused to move. It was now over.

"Now I understand. I'm happy that you were able to show me the results of your ambition. You truly are powerful. Now I will die by your hand and yet it could not be any more fitting. At the very least I will die to the ambition of the woman I love most. Take my broken body and use it as a foundation to your ascent to power!"

Raoh looked over with expressionless eyes. She did not expect for this creature to declare his love to her and no matter how much she tried to deny it she could not stop her heart from beating all the more rapidly when she heard his words of admiration toward her.

"You were a fine warrior worthy of my fists. Now I shall claim your life but realize this. Ken-Oh never forgets those who are worthy. When the time comes when I claim my place amongst the Gods you shall remain in my memory and thus remain immortal ever after. Farewell."

With that Raoh rose her fist in order to finish off the youma when suddenly she felt as if the weight of a thousand Earths was crushing her.

Malachite cackled in laughter as he and Prince Endymion trapped Raoh under the barrier.

Raoh gritted her teeth in pain. She was still standing but barely so. The walls of the barrier burned her very skin as black electricity cackled throughout her body.

"It is over. The moment you were caught in our barrier this battle ended. You will never escape from there. Either beg for mercy and a quick death or allow yourself to be crushed by our overwhelming might!" boasted Malachite.

"Y-You think that Ken-Oh will kneel to the likes of cowards like you? How laughable." replied Raoh with a pained grin.

"And still your arrogance doesn't end. You will now learn that you have been bested." said Prince Endymion harshly as he poured even more power into the barrier.

It was now that Raoh felt like her body was going to break. The urge to simply kneel and ease even a little of the pain was overwhelming.

In the meanwhile the youma looked over in helplessness as the love of his life was being pinned down by such a cowardly tactic. No matter how much he wanted to reach out to her his body was simply too broken to anything.

So this is the end. We will both die. My defeat marks my uselessness to the Dark Kingdom.

If only I were stronger then I could save her. That I could prove my worth to her.

Yet now I'm powerless now.

It's like no matter what happens to me, whether as human or monster, I am eternally stuck in one place unable to change my fate.

I'm sorry.

Through the ravages of the barrier Raoh felt her strength beginning to slip. Her bones were on the verge of breaking. She could tell that the end was nearing. Already her vision was beginning to blur as her knees buckled under the strain. It was then that Raoh realized that she was even whimpering in pain as the urge to cry was beginning to overtake her.

So this is the extent of my ambition?

To be defeated by a pack of cowards who dare not sully their fists?

Yet what can I do when my entire body is rendered useless?

It was then that Raoh's mind brought up a memory of the past. Her first ascent to power by proving her worth to Master Ryuken as she dragged not only herself but Toki as well up a cliff so that they could receive training in the invincible art of Hokuto Shin Ken.

At that time her body, as a young boy, was soft, weak and fragile. It would have been so easy to simply give up and fall to their deaths and not have to struggle. Yet her ambition would not allow her to give up. She would come out victorious regardless of what happened.

It was then that Raoh's eyes snapped open.

No….

I refuse….

My ambition will not stop here!

I will not bow.

I will not bow.

With a roar of utter defiance Raoh lifted her two fingers as she struck the pressure point, Sekkatsu-kou, causing her body to swell up in mass and power. Drawing every inch of her strength her body glowed a deep red as she rose her fist.

"I WILL NOT BOW!"

Slamming her fist on the face of the barrier Raoh shattered it like glass. Both Prince Endymion and Malachite were absolutely flabbergasted when they saw this girl break through their barrier through brute force and sheer force of will.

"U-Unbelievable! Nobody has the power to break through that barrier other than Metallia. Even Queen Beryl would not have been able to escape from that." stammered Malachite.

"W-What manner of being is she? She can't possibly be a normal girl!" said Prince Endymion in shock.

They were now at an impasse. They were drained from their energy because of the barrier but they were also fearful of going back to Queen Metallia empty handed.

"We must get the Rainbow Crystal at all costs. We cannot yield." said Malachite.

"Then let us go now before she has a chance to recover."

With that both Prince Endymion and Malachite went on the offensive.

Raoh was exhausted and could hardly stand. Her entire body was trembling from the amount of force she needed to exert to escape the barrier.

Unfortunately she was not given time to recover as she saw Prince Endymion come at her with a swipe of his sword. She ducked under it and placed a palm on his stomach.

Hokuto: Ensho-Ha!

Prince Endymion felt like his guts suddenly ruptured as he was sent flying back before hitting a telephone pole. Meanwhile Malachite managed to summon a sword of his own was already aiming to thrust it into the unsuspecting brunette.

Raoh sensed the intent to kill but knew that she would not be able to avoid the blow without some damage. Turning swiftly the blade cut across her rib cage causing a terrible gash that bled heavily but at least she was skewered. Raoh knew that she was too weak to summon a fighting aura so instead she closed the distance between her and Malachite.

Malachite brought his sword down with Raoh catching it between her hands. Summoning her senshi powers Raoh sent a large surge of electricity toward the sword. Acting as a conductor the sword unfortunately sent the electricity straight to Malachite.

The general screamed in pain as the electricity ran through his body.

Not wasting any time Raoh soon closed the distance as she struck the pressure point, Kyoumei, on Malachite's shoulder. Walking back the brunette watched with grim satisfaction as Malachite's expression turned into that of great pain.

"I have struck the pressure point Kyoumei. Your fists have cried out to me in despair and now I release them from your bondage."

Malachite's eyes widened as he saw his hands bulge dangerously before exploding in a spray of blood.

"YOU BITCH! HOW DARE YOU!" screamed Malachite in pain as he saw that he no longer had any hands to use.

Prince Endymion managed to recover his bearings and seeing Malachite's plight knew that they could not stay in combat any longer. The prince knew that he would not be able to defeat this foe without assistance. His main priority was to get Malachite out of danger and treated as soon as possible.

With that the prince summoned the last bit of energy he had and launched a ball of black electricity toward Raoh. The brunette avoided the attack but soon realized too late that it was only a distraction. Already the Prince was by Malachite's side.

"You may have won this battle but we will not forget this! Your days are numbered!" threatened Prince Endymion as he teleported both he and Malachite from the battlefield.

Raoh could only look placidly as her enemies retreated. Once they were gone she suddenly felt her vision blurring as her body fell to the ground unwilling to move. It seemed that she had driven her body to the very limit and more and now she could no longer move.

In the meanwhile the youma watched with utter fascination at the woman who seemed to defy all odds. Through sheer force of will she had conquered her enemies.

Summoning all the strength he had left he rose to his feet as he went toward the down brunette. Raoh looked over and grinned when she saw him.

"Looks like my ambition comes to an end here. Finish me off monster. My fists and body are now broken."

It was then that the youma did something that surprised Raoh. Instead of finishing her off the youma went on one knee as he held his arm across his chest.

"Today you have shown me the extent of your ambition. It is clear to me that you understand the pursuit of power. I wish to obtain more power but am ignorant in doing so. Will you suffer to have me as your loyal servant and to do your bidding so that I too can join you in your pursuit of power?"

Raoh could not believe her good fortune. It seemed that her ambition had proven to reward her once again. Through the face of adversity she now acquired an ally and a useful one at that. The monster had proven to be worthy in battle and could really be of use in her training so that she could augment her abilities.

More than that, however, she knew that the monster was smitten with her which meant that his loyalty was to be unquestioned. He would answer to her and her alone.

Forcing herself to her feet Raoh managed to then speak once more.

"Very well. Pledge your allegiance to me your master Ken-Oh the Conqueror!"

"Hail Ken-Oh!"

Raoh smiled as she knew that her ascent to power was near. One more step in her path toward obtaining ultimate power and her ascension to the Gods.

This is only the beginning.

My ambition will be realized and I will take my place amongst the Gods!

Even if I have to force them to kneel before my feet!

With that last thought Raoh's eyes suddenly faded as she fell to the ground unconscious.

Author's Note: I know you all wanted me to save Raoh for last but I am not going to be updating this story for a while so I figured that I would get Raoh's trial out of the way. But believe me. Rei will be making a major resurgence in the next chapter. Anyway let me know what you all think.
