Btw: Just a Little One-shot, it's not any good but hey, thought I'd post it anyways. Enjoy.

About Damn Time Emily Fields.

It'd been two weeks since the epic fail that was the fashion show and Emily has yet to find a reason as to why she was so jealous.

Samara had said that girl was just a friend so why did Emily feel this need to claim the blonde as hers. Barbaric as it sounded.

What really got to her was that she knew, she knew, exactly why she felt like this. She wanted Samara for herself. But she was scared.

Past relationships screamed bad luck to her. The question was though, was she really going to let her past keep her from her potential future?

Because if she really was being honest with herself, Emily believed Samara could be it for her. That smile, those eyes, the girl made her feel things she'd never felt before.

All her other so called relationships had been missing something. Alison...well she was just a manipulative bitch. Ben...enough said really.

Maya had just been pressure and fear. And then Paige, almost drowning aside, she just couldn't do the whole closet case thing. She had enough drama in her life without it.

Samara though...she made Emily feel safe, but unbelievably risky at the same time. She made her feel...whole.

Dammit! Emily Fields was done with playing victim and hiding out away from the storm. She was going to get what she wanted, and she wanted the girl.

The next day Emily found herself waiting for Hanna after school. The former being held back by Mona for whatever reason this time.

So there she was perched on the stone wall playing with her phone, a different blonde on her mind.

That's when she noticed the shadow looming over her and the soft hands that stilled her own. Tingles exploding in every nerve.

Looking up chocolate eyes met a lighter mocha and she couldn't stop the soft smile from forming on her lips, whispering, "Hey."

Samara sat beside the girl, knocking shoulders lightly, playfully, "Hey yourself."

Emily sat there for a moment, tracing the girl's features before settling on her eyes. Searching almost.

Her fingers twitched with the need to touch the soft skin her eyes had traced and this time she didn't hold herself back.

Lazy fingertips traced over a soft forehead, down to a cute nose, circling slight pink cheeks, to the soft curve of her jaw, then finally grasping Samara's chin just as softly.

"Emily?" The girl questioned, her own eyes seeking, hoping.

Emily smiled, her thumb brushing over red lips, "I've spent this past year in fear. Fearful of everything..."

She leaned in, her nose brushing softly with Samara's, "And I am so over being afraid. I don't want to look back on this moment and wonder what if. I don't want to look back and see a girl to afraid to take a chance."

"And what do you want to see, Emily?" Samara whispered, her breath tickling Emily's lips.

Emily smirked, "I want to see...that I had enough guts...to get...the girl." and mustering up all her courage Emily Fields leaned in and kissed the lips she'd been fantasizing about for so long.

Pulling apart, Samara grinned at the other girl, "It's about damn time Emily Fields."

Emily just kissed the girl again, only pulling back enough to whisper into soft lips, "Better later than never."
