Robins' being a troll and there is nothing you can do about it :)

"Recognized, Batman b-1" recites the watchtower computer as Batman steps off the zeta beam pad.

"Batman to watchtower what is the emergency?" Batman speaks into his com-link as he leaves the transporter room.

"Wonder Woman to Batman, report to the mission room immediately for briefing" with a sigh batman ends comlink communication. Tonight had been a really bad night, as in a really really really bad night. Knowing he can't rely on the rest of the league to cheer him up, he heaves another sigh, puts on his best Batman scowl and takes off running toward the mission room.

Suddenly a techno beat begins blasting through the intercom system. He pauses for a moment and the scowl slides off his face only to be replaced with a small smile. He takes off running again to he beat of the song for the enjoyment of a certain hacker that he knows is watching (and for his own enjoyment as well) just as the first chorus of "do-do-do-dddoooo" rings down the long hallway.

"Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods? Wheres the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?"

"Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed? Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need!"

"I need a hero! I'm holding out for a hero until the end of the night. He's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast and he's gotta be fresh from the fight"

Batman can't help but laugh as the chorus hits. Even though he hates to admit it, running to music is very motivational. With his cape flying out behind him, some of the excitement of being Batman that he never gave himself chance to feel manages to break through his bad mood and he winds us smiling in spite of himself.

He bursts into the mission room as the chorus of "I need a hero" begins to play again. But the music quiets to a non-earsplitting level as he walks into the room.

Instantly Bruce replaces his smile with Batman's signature scowl but the rest of the league can't help realize the music playing in the background and they cast Batman confused glances with varied amounts of humor.

"um-" starts Flash with definitely he most confused look on his face of everybody in the room.

"Robin." Batman answers, letting a smile ghost back over his lips.

_later_

"How do you turn it Off?" whines The Flash as the song begins to play AGAIN.

"I am getting a MAJOR headache here Bats, please tell me your close to figuring out how to un-hack the hack!" he complains as Batman furiously taps at the leagues' computer.

"It's been two hours and I'm not even close." was Batman's grim answer, but to be honest he couldn't be angry at Robin. Though he winces as the song plays through the chorus again, knowing he'll never be able to get the words out of his head.
