Technically for our RP, but it's really just Akefia and Bakura just after they came back, and so hate each other. ^^ Enjoy.
"You!"
I barely had any time to react before I was slammed into a wall and pinned there by a pair of large, bronze hands on my shoulders, Akefia glaring at me with his lilac-y grey eyes.
"I what?" I shrugged him off my shoulders and folded my arms, giving him my best unimpressed look. He may have been taller than me, but I wasn't going to be intimidated by someone as weak as him. Emotionally weak anyway.
"This is all your fault!"
"What is?"
"Everything! My entire family was killed because of you!" He slammed me against the wall again, my head hitting the plaster with an alarming crack which I ignored for now.
"How the fuck was it my fault?"
"You already know, Zork!" Akefia shouted, practically spitting in my face. I smirked in response.
"Enlighten me, pawn."
He threw me sideways then, my back hitting the floor and skidding for a bit. Luckily I was wearing my trench coat or that might have given me rug burn. However, I was still smirking. His irritation was so amusing. Maybe I should make him like this all the time to give me some entertainment in this poor excuse for a world. Try as he might, Akefia was still human, and as such only a pawn in my eyes.
His foot slammed into my chest winding me, and I gasped for air as he pressed down. Stupid weak human body.
"You can't control me. You barely have anything of your former power now; look at you. You can't even push me off!" He laughed, a dangerous smirk on his face that made me angry.
"If you hadn't failed me, thief-" I was cut off by him lifting his foot and kicking my side, causing me to roll over and gasp in pain. Shit that hurts.
"You were the one who failed. Now get out of my house."
"What?" I managed to scramble to my feet while glaring at him. "It's not your house." I reminded him. Ryou had taken us both in and let us stay with him, which considering everything is pretty nice of him...a trait of his I intend to use to my advantage as often as possible.
"So? Ryou isn't here right now, so get out."
"Hell no." Like hell was I leaving here. It was raining pretty heavily outside, and I like the heat, which is probably his fault. Plus the temperature in the house was far above normal thanks to him.
"Fine." He lunged and grabbed me round the waist, lifting me over his shoulder and making me squeak slightly in shock before I started kicking and punching him to make him let go.
"Put me down, bastard!"
He didn't, instead opening the door and dumping me outside on the grass, causing my back to jar as I hit the ground.
"See you never, fake." He spat in my face then turned to leave.
"What did you call me?" I was shocked rather than angry. Fake? What did he mean by that?
"Fake. Because you are. You're not really Zork anymore; you're not me, and you're not Ryou. You don't exist; you don't even have a name. Just go ahead and die." He left, slamming the door shut behind him as I turned my collar up against the rain. Damn, now my hair was going to get wet. That would take ages to dry.
Growling, I turned and began to walk down the street, thinking about what he had said. I wasn't really Zork any more, I knew that, otherwise I would be trapped in the Shadow Realm, but I wasn't human. Even though I have the same body as Ryou, I'm not him, nor am I Akefia. So...what would that make me? What is my actual name?
Maybe I don't have one. If that's the case, I guess I'll make one up. I thought for a bit, and then a name came to me with a grimace. Bakura. Ryou's surname and the fake name Akefia had used in Egypt. That would fit perfectly. Yes, that would be my name. Bakura. Now I just needed somewhere to stay for the night...maybe Marik's. He owes me a hell of a lot.
A smirk in place, I set off for Marik's.
