"I still can't believe it," said McGee as he grabbed the keys to the van.
"Neither can I" replied Tony, putting the last of his possessions into his bag.
"Did Gibbs get married again or something, because he's been acting rather… odd lately… don't you think?"
"No…" chimed Abby as she took the keys of McGee and handed them to Ziva.
"Woah, hold it, why did you just give Ziva the keys?"
"She's driving."
"Over my dead body. The last time we got in the van with Ziva driving she almost ran over an elderly woman because she wasn't walking fast enough."
"She was walking like a snail… and besides, I didn't run her over."
"Almost" Tony emphasized. Ziva stuck her tongue out at him in response.
Silence.
"So, did you guys hear about Vance?"
"No… what is it?" Tony asked, like a teenager waiting for gossip.
"He's ordered Gibbs to work with the FBI."
"Fornell?" the three asked in unison. Abby shook her head.
"B-A-U"
"B-A-What?" asked Ziva
"Behavioural Analyst Unit," said McGee, "they profile crimi?evidence… mental state. They ?look at their behaviour and what triggered them to make them go on their rampage… things like that."
"Oh… cool," said Tony, uninterested and daydreaming.
"Oh, and Tony? I hear they have two hot women," replied McGee.
Tony's eyes widened, he jumped up out of his seat but came colliding into the front of a tall authoritative figure. He already knew who it was. Before he could look up, he could feel a hand meet the back of his head. Slap.
Tony grabbed his gear from his desk, to be greeted by the smirking faces of his colleagues. Gibbs grabbed the keys from Ziva and headed towards the elevator.
Ziva looked stunned as Tony smirked. Karma?
"So… Gibbs and the FBI… It's probably going to be like hell on earth…"
"More like Fornell on earth…"
The three agents sniggered. They continued making small talk between them until they heard familiar footsteps.
"We were just-"
"Talking about me, DiNozzo?"
Tony turned around to face Gibbs.
"Hey, boss… didn't you just…" Tony gestured towards the elevator.
"I forgot my coffee."
Gibbs raised his eyebrows, slightly shaking the cup in his hand, as if stating the obvious.
"Right-"
"Grab your gear."
The three of them stood in front of Gibbs, all prepared. Gibbs smirked and nodded before walking through them towards the elevator.
Ziva and McGee continued to smirk.
"Oh don't give me that look," replied Tony as the four of them climbed into the elevator beside Gibbs.
Ziva giggled lightly and McGee's smirk faded away. Abby held a smirk as they reached the ground floor, Abby skipping off to her lab as she always did, in her weirdly happy way. She did love the way they all managed to annoy each other, but what else was family for?
Gibbs threw Ziva the keys as they reached the van, Ziva smiling at Tony.
"Damn it," Tony muttered under his breath, giving a glance to McGee who tried to contain his laughter. He slammed the door shut as he got in the seat next to Ziva. "This should be fun."
