Just some fluffy Mako/Ami fluffiness. My first oneshot, Reviews anyone? fluffyfluffyfluffy cuuuteness. I hope ;D actually, it's so sweet it might be sappy D: Tell me what you think.

Her scent is so different from the others'. Indescribable. Nothing quite fits. It's not like Minako, who smells slightly sweet, like tulips and bright sunshine.

She doesn't have the exotic scent of Rei, of incense and spices, and the woody smoke from the fire.

Nor does she smell gently perfumed, like Usagi, perfumed with the smallest hint of flowers.

"What are you thinking of?" I smile as her strong, muscled arms circle around me from behind.

There is her scent. A faint, delicious combination of vanilla and honey. She smells like green trees, rain and roses. She smells like a pine forest at night. I can just catch a gentle hint of chocolate, from whatever she's been baking.

So many ways to describe her scent, yet nothing quite fits. Cherry blossoms, green tea, a spring rainstorm.

No matter what, she always has the same electric trace, an underlying suggestion of lightning, and thunder.

A scent that is utterly and completely

My Mako-chan.

"What are you thinking of?" She asks again, softly pressing her cheek onto the top of my head, pulling me closer.

"I was thinking about you." I can feel her smile. "I was thinking about what you smell like." She breathes in deeply, before asking quietly, "Do you want to know what you smell like?" She doesn't wait for an answer, just begins to play with my short blue locks, running her hands through them. "You smell like Ami. You smell like a snowy white Christmas." Gently her fingers twirl my hair. "Or a waterfall."

A small giggle escapes me, followed by a slightly louder one. My laughter pleases her and she begins to chuckle as well. Her laugh is so different to mine, confident and strong. She pulls me closer again and hugs me tight.

"I love you, my Ami."
